Professional and friendly

Just played 18 holes with my pal.
I travelled 130mikes to meet up with a fellow NHS worker.
Long day but course excellent and weather sunny to cool with no wind.
Limited to coffee and biscuit in outside area but good.
Driving at the start good to warm up.
Staff so courteous and helpful. Trouble with wheel on my trolley and Connor to the rescue.
Simon very helpful especially explaining the new handicap rule and £10 cheaper than my local club I play today in Derbyshire.
I, we, look forward to returning.
Well done, well done.

Big Improvement In Course

Played here a few weeks ago and greens were poor. Thought I’d give it a second chance and wow what an improvement! Greens aren’t perfect but have improved massively! Long course which has something for everyone. Overall very impressed

Nice course.

I was looking for a reasonably priced Sunday afternoon round near Malvern and this course popped up. Easy to find and it has a nice wide driveway and adequate parking. The golf pro was very friendly and had be out on the course in no time.

Having only been open 2 years or so, this course is in no way mature; most of the trees have clearly been recently planted. The front nine is fairly easy, I managed to par both the par 5's which is a rare thing for me!

Things change on the 10th where a blind drive over ridge to a fairway reveals a virtual island green (it isn't truly and island but has water on many sides. Faced with a 160 yard shot I went for it and instantly regretted it. Should have laid up and pitched on. The back 9 has plenty of water so accurate drives are a must. There isn't a single bunker on the course, which made the local rule on the scorecard about stones in bunkers a little odd. Perhaps they will add some in the future?

Really enjoyed my round and will be returning to this little gem in the future. It will be interesting to see how it matures in a few years.
