Just okay
It was a very busy course. They do have 27 holes so you would have thought they would have been better organized. Our start was chaotic and even after the starter told us to start on hole 10, we tee’d off then the course owner gave us a hard time about. They do not communicate very well with each other. The course is not bad for beginners.
Course was a lot of fun.
They have great staff and do a good job maintaining the course. Was very happy overall especially since it was a holiday and I was able to get a early tee time. Only complaints I may have had was it’s a cash only course, but they do have a atm on site and that the golf carts are older models, other than that I can’t wait to come back and play again.
Bad attitudes
Booked my round thru GN. Played here before and enjoyed it but today was a bad experience. I called in advance and asked if my girlfriend could ride along which I was told there was no problem with it. Showed up to play and went to pay for her to ride. Was told it’s usually $14 for a rider for 18 holes. I said I’ve never heard of it costing that much but was ok to pay it and understood his reasons. But he then said never mind paying this time and said to enjoy my round. As I made the turn the owner stopped me and gave me a hard time for not paying and saying his employee said I told him I didn’t have the money to do so. I told him he was wrong and that I tried to pay but was told not to worry about it this time. He argued that wasn’t what he was told. So I followed him to his employee and when he asked the employee, he confirmed that I tried to pay and he told me not to worry about it. The owner then tried to shake my hand and got mad because I refused to do so with someone who attacked me with misinformation
I will NEVER golf here again and will definitely be bad mouthing the place every chance I get
Good value
This is a good value course! The old guy at the checkout is a mean angry guy and pretty rude. Lady at the snack bar was super pleasant and sweet, and the young kids they have working there are very well mannered kids. I believe the owner looks like Jon Daly and is a pretty nice guy. Overall course is not bad and pretty easy overall, it’s been dry so course was in good shape. Carts need an upgrade but they are fast. For $40 for 18 and cart is a great value for this course
Unorganized and unfriendly
My tee time was booked on Golf Now 5 days in advance. The older man at the counter was not a happy guy. to say the least. He snapped at me and said “ they’re not supposed to be booking tee times “ referring to golf now. He had no way of checking my tee time and made me go get my phone to verify the booking . The course didn’t take credit so we had to use the ATM at the course. Luckily one of us had a debit card. Every tree on the course was surrounded by long weeds and poison ivy. I lost a few balls this way. They didn’t have enough carts for golfers or a starter from what I saw. Everyone there seemed angry and unorganized.
Fun Round
Few of my friends always come here for an early morning round. Pace of play is never an issue and staff is very friendly. Course is not very long or challenging but you are also aren’t breaking the bank. Fun course, will continue to come back.
The course is nice
The course is nice the staff is friendly great place to play especially if your new to golf. The only problem I had was with my cart the bag strap was broken and my bag kept falling off
Betst bang for your buck
Very forgiving course. Well maintained. I go about once a week for a reason. Will continue going. Recommend to anyone.
Not the best but not the worst.
Definitely would play here again. It’s one of those courses you can play every week and feel you have the potential to keep getting a better score.
Hometown Course
One of the few 27 hole courses in the area, I walked the back 9 on a nice sunny morning. Course is mostly straight and hilly. Large groups of geese on multiple holes but what can you do. My only complaint is that, for a Memorial Day weekend especially, the cups hadn't been cut fresh since atleast a full day prior, my guess is two days. Some edges were quite shredded. Maybe the front 18 had been renewed, but it was very noticeable.
