Fairways need grass
Staff is always super friendly and accommodating. However, the fairways are in really fair to poor condition. My shots landed and bounced off rocks several times. Carts and greens both in good condition. Some grass in the fairways would be a major improvement and enhanced value for time and money.
Super Friendly Staff, Fun layout, Awful Conditions
All the people at the course were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. The course layout was fun with a lot of fun and different holes. The greens were in very good condition. The biggest drawback of the course is the awful overall condition of the tee boxes and fairways. MANY of the fairways, had little to no grass at all. Many of the tee boxes were in the same condition as the fairways with little to zero grass. On almost every fairway I had to move my ball to an area that had grass so that I could hit from grass and not from bare dirt. On the first hole, I had a nice drive to the middle of the fairway, and there was zero grass within 30 feet of my ball, so I had to move my ball to an area that had grass. Maybe in the summer, the conditions are better when the weather gets warmer and the grass can grow, bur for the end of April, the condition of the fairways were very disappointing.
Great course and friendly staff
I was greeted by friendly golf pro and staff. First time playing here and it was a wonderful course and layout. Golf carts are newer and in good repair. Highly recommend.
Great for the Price
Used a HotDeal for $19.99, but course was well worth the cheap $34 round it would’ve been without a deal.
Tee boxes, fringe, and greens were in perfect shape. Fairways had quite a few dead spots but to be expected with a public course. No bunkers and minimal hazards made the course look easy, but the greens feel like they’re rolling 12+ to make it more challenging and enjoyable !
Guys in the Pro Shop and lady working the bar were as kind as they come. 10/10 will be back!
The course
The course needs better fairways and that’s about it
Great bang for your buck!
Great value
Friendly staff, easy grab and go carts, and a tough course layout with some fun holes. Fairways could issue a little love but for the price, I was very pleased. Greens were firm and rolled well. Restaurant and bar was good as well. I’ll definitely come back when I’m in Little Rock.
Tough fun
I like this course a lot! The greens are true but crazy sloped. No bunkers. Lots of hard pan and gravel by the fairways. If you aren’t playing perfect in the fairway or on the green, then your going to have a lie or roots or rocks.
Great Muni !!!
Haven't play that many courses, but this is the best Mini I've played since Rancho Park in LA in the 70s.
Greens are fast and true, under good repair. Trees come into play on most longer holes and water on several holes, too. Elevation change makes things challenging. Even the carts were on excellent shape and well charges. Price is right also.
I played the front nine twice breaking off from a group, though I heard the back nine may be better.
The 9th green requires a good shot to get to a back pin position. Assuming you get up there from off the green, delicate putting is needed to keep from rolling 20-25 yards to the front of the green.
Thanks !!!
A day with tiger
Greens always great....fast..... interesting putts.........great bar.........2 practice putting greens......gold, white, and blue tees......some leaves...... November
Hidden Gem
The course is relatively short. It's best defense is the very small, undulated, firm and fast greens. And what a defense it is.
You better be chipping the ball well in order to score.
There are some unique holes like number 14. A 230 yard par 4. Straight up the hill with an elevated green shaped like a turtles back. Not a give me par.
You really have to think your way around this course based on pin positions and best place to miss.
The staff is very nice and the price is right.
It's a heck of a deal. I love the place.
Cold windy day
Very interesting layout, distances, greens.....bar and food.....used GPS app.....worked.....
