No regrets

Very fun course layout. Front 9 is all at sea-level with a lot of water (forced carries). Back 9 is all elevation and jungle, with some really cool holes and amazing views. Course condition has gone by the wayside, which was sad to see since Jack’s firm created such a nice layout. Greens were slow but in surprisingly decent shape. Driving range was neat, hit out into the water. Practice green was a disaster, don’t bother. Rental clubs were a pleasant surprise: t100 for me available in stiff flex, t300 in senior flex for my wife. All bags had Vokey wedges and Scotty Cameron putters, but the putters were all beat up because they take the head-cover from you when you load the bag onto the cart.

A few recommendations:
-Bring plenty of ammo. Lots of hazards and dense forest, don’t want to be stuck buying $25 sleeves at the turn.

-Bring your rangefinder. The markings on the course are few and often changing between meters and yards. If you have room, just bring your laser, it’ll be worth it.

-Bring lots of cold water. Restaurant wasn’t open and they wouldn’t even give us ice to cool the water we brought.

Ultimately, my wife and I had a great time and would recommend this course to those looking to play while in Mo’orea. However, due to the subpar conditions, it is not worthy of being a destination course, which is too bad given the potential with this great layout.
