Best shot of the day on the 4th hole Photo submitted by Brett4224030 on 10/04/2012
Muddy lies everywhere
I played after a few days of rain so the wet conditions were not unexpected. However, all of the fairways and areas around the greens were too soggy to play, I quit after 11 holes.
My go-to spot
First course I played when I was new. Still my favorite to work on irons. Shorter 18 hole course with only three par 4s. I love that I can always squeeze in a quick round. Staff and everyone I've been put in a group with have all been the nicest people.
Antelope greens
I love this course. The people that run it are great too
Firm & Fast Greens
The greens are firm, fast, and in excellent condition. Fairways in good shape. Teeing areas quite worn out due to excessive play and winter growing conditions. Overall, a fun place to play for all levels, but particularly for the beginner and average golfer.
fun day
A fun laid back day, only got a little slow twice. Course was in good condition, got to make those shots.
The course was in excellent condition. It’s a great short game course.
Best value for beginner golfers
I returned to Antelope Greens after two years. It’s a fun course, challenging for my 25 handicap. It’s a great value too!
Perfect
Had a great price. Course not crowded. Had an excellent time.
Room for improvment
I have played at Antelope greens at least 6 times in the past 2 years. My golf group perfers the cheap rate so we are here often. The value is great if you want to get out on the green and walk. But you do get what you pay for. The course is short only 3 chances to use a driver if you drive 200+. WIth tee time still $20 for a cart which ruins the value.
The Bad: Homeless incapment on property or at least very near cart path at the end of hole 2.This is not new I have seen them there the last 5 months. Where you get a great view of them doing drugs. Not a great feeling when you have a 9 year old golfing with you. Add on that the cart was dirty and had cigaret butts and weed roaches in the cart finaly found them hidden and was able to get rid of the smell of cheap weed. Was yelled at pubicly in front of about 20 other golfers by staff at 1st tee cause he had to give away our "tee time". We were more than 5 minutes early to the tee.But he did get us in a a few minutes before our original tee time. Not great way to start out golfing with your son and wife. Saturday 2:30 tee time
Terrible Pace of Play
We had a pleasant experience the first time so we decided to come back a month later. The pace of play was horrible this time. A foursome in front of us sharing one set of clubs. Each hit multiple balls off the tee and fairways. Staff was indifferent when we told them about it. We also passed a sevensome later in the day. It would be nice if there was Marshall around to enforce it.
