Nice course. But currently there is a lot of housing construction around the from 9. Green fees are very high - so value for money was not great.

fun round

I had a great time playing Verrado Victory course. A first time for me so the layouts and shots where sometime, hit and pray you got it right. All were fair and fun. Greens rolled quick and true. I'd say it would on the harder side to walk as the transitions between holes is quite long on several holes. It's not the elevation..it's the long commute. Alas, with carts, super easy to get around. I got a "deal-time" and paid $100 bucks. About right value in my opinion. Last tip, play with your buddies from the Blacks on 18 and see how many balls go in the drink!

Good Easy Course

I brought the family out here for my Birthday and it was very nice. Some construction needs done and in about 2-3 years this place will look nice and free of heavy machinery. The holes themselves are very individual and each one has its own personality. You don’t see that a lot on Arizona courses. Overall 3.7

Great West Valley Course!

This is my favorite West Valley course. Always in great shape. 18 is one of the nicest golf holes around. Always have a great time playing at Victory.

Victory is boring 🤷🏼‍♂️

Nowhere near the course Founders is. Play that one. The view from the tees at Victory is just not acceptable.

Won’t play Victory again

Terrible views off the tee ruin the entire experience. Just blah. Especially when compared with its sister the Founders Course which is superior in every way imaginable. I played Victory because I got a good price and was hoping for a different memory from the first time I played a couple years ago. Nope. Great shape, just not a fun course to play.

Great course !!!!

This is the second time I’ve driven all away from North Scottsdale to play the victory course. The layout is unique, and there are no holes that are similar. really a cool layout the staff is great. Range balls included is a plus, and the food is really good. It’s worth the 55 minute drive to the west valley. I will definitely be back next time again.

Front nine is a construction zone with multiple on course housing and infrastructure being put in place. Visually the gold course is unlike others you usually see.

Extremely slow back 9

Got really excited driving up to the course - , you get to see hole #18 which is a long drive from an elevated tee over water to a green tucked away into a rocky mountain. But you had to wait 5 hours to get to play this hole.

Driving range was grass instead of turf.

Good layout with several blind shots into greens. Mountains are the backdrop to several holes (8-9, 16-17). Very windy on the front 9. Front 9 had less homes built on it (for now), we encountered bees at several sprinkler heads on the front 9.

Made the turn and wanted to order food - called the number on Hole #8 only for the employee not to pick up the phone. Got to the food stand and the only thing she said she could get quick are the hot dogs. Disappointing because the grille had a diverse menu.

Hole #14 screws everything up on the back 9. It's a short par 4 and causes massive delays for groups, as long hitters are waiting for the group ahead to clear the green. There was a 3 group wait when we got to the 14th tee, and this was after waiting nearly every shot on 10-13. This hole alone added ~30 minutes to our round. Find a different place to put the tee boxes further back. Our round took 5 hours as a result, even though we made the turn at 2 hours.

Greens were tricky - fast with lots levels and slope. Most greens were elevated 3-4 feet from the fairway so if you missed your ball would roll far off. Lots of slope on the greens. There's no rough here, just fairway that isn't watered/colored. Fairways were wide, driver was only taken out of my hands on a few holes. Tee boxes were slightly off level, slope on tee boxes favored left handed golfers as the ball would be below their feet.

No GPS in carts. No provided water bottles in coolers. Bag drop and club clean before and after rounds. There's a beautiful view of 18 from the grille, wanted to eat there after the round but they said they would be closed for everything but drinks.

Slope from the silvers said 124 - no chance with those greens. Played like a 130 at least.
