Great for short game and the course is well taken care of.
Pace of play was 2 1/2 hours. Course was kind of empty because of long 4th holiday. Course in good shape except traps were hard and wet from watering. Green were somewhat bumpy. I was testing new swing trying to hit longer clubs instead hitting harder, Reaching 77 YEARS

Best Short Course
I have played on a lot of short courses (Par 3/4) and this is by far the most enjoyable. Private club quality greens and great layout!
Nice back nine
Very enjoyable. Just a bit slow for executive course
Tyder2810, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! We understand that weekends can be a but busy and the pace of play can slow a bit. We will continue to monitor and improve our pace to increase the enjoyment of our customers. Hope to see you back out here soon!
My wife and I enjoyed the round on this short course. Patio and food good for after.
Course Ok but who hires these people
One hole is so short I could have thrown a hole in one. Worth playing using the golfnow discount. T he young lady at the front desk (Nadia?) is RUDE. If she doesn’t like working with the public she should not be working the front desk/cash register. Birch Hills training or hiring/HR dept. could take a lesson from the other Brea course. Brea Creek front desk gets 5 stars, Birch Hills 1 star.

Wish I knew there was a tournament
Wish I knew there was a tournament when I booked the tee time. I was scheduled for a 2:34pm time. I arrived an hour early to warm up and was surprised to see a tournament starting. I checked in and was informed my tee time was pushed back to accommodate the tournament.
The course was in fair condition the greens were fast.

Too many in a group
This course isnt too bad, except today we were sailing along until we hit a 4, which was behind a 6 person group by another 4 some. There should never be 6 people playing together. A 2 hour round instantly came to a stop. Last 5 holes took nearly 2 hours.
mrmotivate thank you for your review! We have read your comments and we will continue to make sure our customers are playing at a good pace to ensure a fun day for everyone. We hope to see you back out here again soon!
Nice course to practice your irons. My friend likes this course.
Fun Little big golf course
For a shorter golf course, the greens are fast and smooth bent grass. Over all the course is a lot of fun to play. The course was holding a little bit of water from the rain the day before. Overall it was in great shape.
Such a fun little course - Birch Hills
It’s been many years since I’ve played Birch Hills. Really enjoyed the new layout. Had a very nice round. Pace of play was pretty slow but I didn’t care. Just felt great to be out there.
Nice Municipal Par 58 Course
I play here semi regularly and it’s a nice Municipal Par 58 Gem. The course has holes that tend to get backed up 3 groups deep but also eventually spreads out. The pace of play is leisurely since it attracts Recreational Golfers, Friends, and Family members of all age groups. Course conditions are hard surface; both fairways and greens, with very little watering and with rough dirt spots. Only about half the ball cleaners have water otherwise they’re dry. Nonetheless, it’s an enjoyable course and you will find discounts deals on most Golf Apps. My suggestion; invite Grandpa, Mom, & Kids and you’ll fit in.
Good course to practice short game.
Birch Hills is a nice course to practice your short game. A few holes you can use your driver. Usually fast play, get great deals on websites like GolfNow and TeeOff. Staff is friendly and accommodating. You can play a quick 18 in the same amount of time as seeing a movie. Would recommend this course whether you’re a beginner or just want to practice.
Great value for money
On holidays from Australia. First time playing this course. Even though it’s very short with a number of the par 3’s sand wedge distance I really enjoyed the course. Greens were good as were the fairways. Pace of play was okay even though it was quite busy. Got a great price off golf now and overall it is excellent value for money.
