Love the course
The course looked great but my play of
Golf did not… Love the changes!! Keep up the good work!
Who puts holes on sides of hills?
All the tees were up so there was no challenge to play .. till u got on the greens. 7 of 9 pins on the left side of green and holes were placed so the ball would roll off the hill and off green. Stupid.
It's not a mini golf course, but should've had a windmill and swinging log.
Clearly the ground crew has never played nor do they know squat about golf.
Perfect for what it is
Took some newbie work folks and they loved it and some are now hooked. They do it right here with the price point and conditions of the course. Little more difficult then a typical par 3 as they add the creeks and elevation. The conditions are just on point for what you’re paying. A great and easy walking course and you have a few holes to bring the driver or 3 wood out. If you’re decent, you can walk it with a Sunday bag and really tune in your wedge game with 1 long iron. Pace was perfect with beginners all around us but it seemed everyone was picking up and pace was great. You will have a few balls get hit into you from beginners off other holes so always pay attention here. Also, I’ve seen people pick up balls as you’re playing. You get that a lot from newbies who are just scrambling to find balls to save money as they hack them in the bushes. Wish they had better food options but I get it since it’s a par 3 so who’s gonna stick around to eat. My only gripe is hole 9 has some balls flying to the tee box scrim the range. Not sure if newbies using drivers when irons only but one wizzed by our head and another landed behind us on the tee box. I grabbed a 9 and hit fast to get out of there. Fix that net please
Bang for buck
The course was well maintained and fun to play. Pace of play is very nice to walk, or use a cart if you’d like. Great course to work the irons and you still get two attempts to slice your driver shot. First timer to play the 9 and I will definitely be back.
great place to practice instead of range time
Their range balls are dead so forget that and hop out on to the course for 7 par 3's and 2 par 4's. The greens are very fair, so it is a great place to practice your game (short of course). I also joined their social club for 100 bucks sice we play Birch Hills a lot. (good discounts on everything at both courses) give it a go!
Staff
Starter was great! Got us out early because there was an opening and we did not wait at one hole. He had common sence!
Overall course layout
I expected all the holes to be between 100-180 yards but to have a few holes more than 300 yards was amazing and provided change in how you play which was great and the environment you had to shoot over and play through was such a nice view and challenge. The only thing I would change is the first bridge because it has a few holes in it that seem pretty dangerous if you aren’t paying attention to where your stepping.
friendly staff, course condition is great. best of the 3 9-holes courses I’d played
friendly staff, course condition is great. best of the 3 9-holes courses I’d played. Has a nice range and putting practice area.
Quick 9
Me n wife played quick 9 in 1.5 hrs. I spent more time in traffic driving there. Staff was always accommodating and friendly!
our local GEM!
This is our local gem and a great little nine hole (w two par 4;s) so makes for a great practice round. Greens are good so putting is somewhat easier due to less ball marks. Only issue is pace of play , on weekends lots of kids (which I love but do not like to play behind) well worth trying midweek, JF
