Very nice staff, we were able to play course in a fast pace.
Nice 9 Hole Course. I would play again. Great price thru Golf.Now.
I wish I could say something nice about this course
The people at the course were very nice.
This is the first time I felt like GolfNow let me down. GolfNow did not show that this is a 9 hole course and that a cart is NOT included in the price. Since the people were so nice, I am not going to say how bad the course is
Mount St Helena GC
I've played this track 4/5 time and love the layout it is a simple fun but challenging course you can play with just irons and score well or bang it and go low. I've enjoyed every round I've pales at MSH and look forward to playing it again. The greens were in great shape.
Good enough for the price.
This course was a good place to enjoy some practice in a friendly environment. For the price I paid it was more than enough. Not much in the way of amenities but it works for this course. The greens were in good shape although the holes were filled with swampy water. The fairways were in pretty rough shape maybe due to the drought.
All in all a fun place to play for some practice, especially for the price.
Calistoga Golf
The 9 hole course is not very challenging unless you invite the trees to visit your golf ball. The course itself is in average condition, though I have played here in the past when the conditions were much worse. The price we paid to play was the least amount I've ever paid for 18 holes, so that made it a very pleasant day along with the great weather that day.
Wine country golf
Fun little course for occasional golfers.
Very dry conditions... got a lot of roll!
Easy course if you can hit straight!
This is a fun easy little course. Not very many hazards. Everything pretty straight and flat. Grass a little long.
Its a little course that for some reason is really fun to play.
Mount St Helena Golf Course is part of the Calistoga Fairgrounds and RV park. Whenever we stay here we play golf here because its very inexpensive, usually very scenic and fun.
This is a 9 hole course that you play twice if you want 18 holes. I wish it had more than 2 tees so you could make the 9's a little more different.
Its not very long but the fairways are on the narrow side so you have to put the driver away on some of the par 4's.
The greens are small and well contoured so thats a challenge too.
The course is mostly played by locals who are generally very friendly.
My wife and i were all smiles when we were there as it was a warm fall day and the leaves were in full fall color bloom.
It is unfortunate that the GPS coordinates in both of my yardage finders have the wrong data which is probably from before the course redesign many years ago.
This course was staff friendly and very playable for everyone.
My wife and I really enjoyed this 9 hole municipal course. Very quiet and relaxing. well maintained t- boxes and greens but fairways were a little thin. Easy to find location just outside Calistoga. Staff were very friendly and locals made us feel welcome. Can be played in less than 2hrs walking, flat course. Easy on the legs. Lunch in Calistoga made for an enjoyable day.
Nice little course.
Was there a day after a storm. The greens were very soft so my wedges made me look impressive. Pretty straight and fun. Played with two beginners who definitely got their swings in for there money.
Great course for the area and the price
Staff was very accommodating, greens were in great shape, except for a few spots. Took my beginner son, it was perfect
What a deal!
Played 18 holes (2 times around the 9 hole course) by myself with two balls in less than 4 hours. Got to use all my clubs (longest hole 434 yards) on this par 34 course. All for $10 (including one beer). Beautiful weather in the 80s too! Try it out.
The course has a scenic background
The discounted time was 11:45 AM. At this time of day and of year. This is a most unpleasantly warm time of the day.
staff very accomodating
no playing pressure makes it ideal to take new golfers to learn on the course
