Great PAR 3 when not in Maintenance
Back 9 was CLOSED
Front 9 Heavy Sand on GREENS
Opted NOT to PLAY
You get what you pay for
Been coming here for years with my dad. Good place to practice short game 18holes for $15-30 is a steal.
Not the best condition but early morning with a coffee ain’t half bad.
Perfect practice spot for short game and putting
I’m not sure if people can’t read or if they don’t understand what a par 3 course is but this spot is a gem for families and new or skilled players. Very friendly staff who answered all the questions I had and the food and drink are fantastic. It’s one of the only courses to have a grass and mat range with good distance markings that stay consistent making it easy to track your yardages. If you want a quick and challenging round that tests your ability this is the spot. Easily walkable, dog friendly, and the no golf attire needed make this a leisurely place to play at.
Nice Par-3 Course
Very good course to work on your short game. Greens are well-kept! Smooth and grassy, no dried/burnt spots. Flat terrain for the first 9 holes so very easy to walk (will play the back 9 the next time). Be careful with your shots though since the course is so short, the party in front of you may get hit even though they are off of the green of your hole. Paid $18 (senior discount) for 9 holes walking with my own push cart. Reasonable price.
Greens are long like a fairway!
It just seems like they did not put any care into cutting a decent fairway, most of it is dirt patches, the holes are really short, and I understand some are overlapping, but at least, if you’re paying for a “green fee”, I’d appreciate some attention to making the greens better and puttable. They are very slow and long grain. If you put more care into the grass after the rains the course would actually be a fun practice area! Thank you for reading. I am definitely disappointed and not coming back with friends, bc I paid $72 for the poorly taken care of course.
Disappointing
Knew it was a par 3 course and took my 8 year old son, whose a golfer. Strange layout, with strange routing.
The conditions were awful. Greens super slow and inconsistent. Many green were dome shaped which I though was bizarre. Collars were chewed up, and fairways were very dry and patchy. Worst part were the tee boxes, some of which had no grass at all. Friendly staff, but par 3 courses can still be well maintained and much more playable, young golfers deserve that. Colina in city Heights is our go-to for my 2 boys and I, and is an exemplary example of a well maintained and playable par 3 course for kids and their parents alike.
Great for Short Game work!
Excellent place to get a good rhythm in your short game. Good par 3 course to work on your approach shots.
Greens were a bit rough bit each presented slightly different. Some were fast, some were slow.
Overall, it was a great experience especially because I took my son who recently picked up the game.
Short game test.
Great job on your little Gem. Well worth the drive from Escondido, looking forward to play it again.
Good good
Best golf course ever I have played. Good view and conditions.
