Nice Course, Good Choice
My second time playing Enagic. Got a good rate as a Hot Deal at about $70 with cart, which was a good value. Course is well maintained, varied terrain, and lots of bunkers. Only complaint is pace of play - took 4 and 3/4 hrs on a Friday PM. Otherwise, a great choice in the San Diego area.
Evil greens 😉
Great day. Staff was professional. Course was in great shape. Finished under 4 hours. Greens are diabolical. If you can putt here, you'll score very well.
Solid day out.
The course has a great lay out. The re-investment they are making in the course has improved the condition. More improvements are needed but every time I play here it’s a little better. We’ll keep coming back.
Always a pleasure to play. Good condition especially after heavy rains two days before. Renovation of 14th green created a challenging distraction.
Mr. DW
Over price with an average greens most of the holes are cartpath only, staff Marshall’s are a bunch of “Ahoes” we 4 some played behind a 3 some one pace of play fairly slow back nice one of the 3 some quit we were half a hole behind when making the turn one of the marshal ask us to pick up the pace we told him we were waiting all day and one of the 3 some quit he reply” I don’t care just pick up”. this is the course I wouldn’t recommend to play unless you can’t find any tee time other wise not worth the aggravation.
over booked/over rated
First, the appreciation that the course still is open and actually had groups out there before rainy Wednesday. SO, those groups were S L O W and we couldn't finish 18 in 5 hours, before darkness shut us down. The greens are pock-marked and uneven in speed from one to another.
Solid
Course was in pretty solid shape. Still some roped off areas which was a bit annoying for carts, but must be from recent rain. Amenities were excellent; range and the bar/grill, and several passes of Bev Cart. Round was 5 hours, so a bit of waiting midday on a Saturday. Still worth the money.
SLOW play on 1/26 and no ranger
We were a foursome following a threesome which were following 2 - twosomes. After 4 1/2 hours we had to leave and didn’t get to play #17 or #18. No ranger either .
Very poor fairway and greens
For ⅓ the price you can play the same conditions on a hacked up par 3 at your local course… look elsewhere many more fantastic golf courses for your time and money in San Diego County. Would not pay more than $60. Otherwise go more east or look towards northwest for other courses
I was warned but I wanted to try the course anyways
5 hour play times are the norm
!!!I Use the gps arial maps to see how bad the greens are… its full of weeds all around and patchy
Putting greens are patchy with problematic growths on the greens. Balls will wobble and some areas are not cut and some areas are not growing. Something is very wrong with the greens
Time slots vs price point
I’ve played Enagic since before the the ownership change and I do love it here. The price of the course has been increasing quickly through the past year and the times were over saturated. I don’t see how to pay $100 on the weekdays play a 3 hour front 9 because it’s backed up. On hole 4, there were 4 groups at one point on that par 3.
Bumpy Greens
No two ways about it – greens are junk. Course is OK overall. Definitely not worth the price.
