Good course for high handicappers.
Wide fairways, some water, some sand. Good course for novice and average golfers. Not overly populated for a Saturday morning. Got pushed by the marshall even though not slowing down following twosome. Had a good time (no lost balls).
It was Nice, I will play it Again
Enjoyed everything about this course, not too hard but challenging
surprise to see course appearance change for the better
I was very impress with the condition of the course and the changein how its being maintained and manicured.
Very nice course & super practice facility!
Vast improvement from the old days (20+ years ago). Great golf course now!
Great Value
Tough Course, requires full attention. Great Value
In better condition now than when I played as a kid.
I was very pleased with the course conditions. The greens were firm and well-kept. There were only a few lies on the edge of the fairway that were spotty instead of flush. We were almost done with the front nine in an hour and a half. Overall it was great for the money we spent. Glad to see the course is doing so much better than 5-10 years ago.
Beginner Golfer
We enjoyed playing riverside golf course. For a couple of beginner golfers, we thought the course was challenging but not to hard. The course is pretty open but has alot of sand traps and the greens are challenging. It was a fun day!
Good Layout
While the front nine is fairly routine, the back offers more elevation changes and challenge. There is still plenty of room in the fairways, but the penalty for wayward shots is more extreme on the back nine. It's an enjoyable layout.
the green is fast
I like the course because it has a lot of slope and also the green is fast. I feel that walking on hole ten, eleven and twelve is a challenge.
Tough in the wind
The course was in pretty good condition. Good lies in fairway and rough playable. Sand traps generally suck. Plays pretty hard in the wind, which is frequent. Big trees can present quite a challenge.
Fun course to play, especially the back 9
Tee times were exact. The course was in very good condition. The greens were a little rough due to the amount of play but putted true.
this course good and challengeing
this course is well kept the greens are firm and fast, the fairways are well maintained
A great muni!
Challenging course, back 9 seems harder than front 9. Smaller greens require an accurate shot. Wind can be a factor. Course in good condition, but bunkers should get more sand. Very friendly staff.
This course is very well maintained
I enjoy playing here and look forward to playing here again very soon thanks to golfNow
Good, challenging course. Good shape.
Despite the rain for three holes it was a very enjoyable experience. Will definitley play again.
Good Shape
Riverside golf course is a challenging course with unjulated fairways and nice greens.... The price to play through Golf Now is reasonable.
Great place to play. People please, fix your ball marks on greens!
I really like playing this course. It has some ungulating fairways, some holes that are below you, and some that are above you. I haven't played a lot of courses, but in my opinion it gives you the best bang for your buck. The course is in great condition exept for one thing. A lot of people who play don't seem to fix their ball marks on the greens, which can be annoying. I fix a few on every green but don't want to spend a lot of time fixing other peoples ball marks. People please, fix your ball marks! Other than that the course is great and so is the staff.
A nice course for a Muni and only $42 dollars.
We enjoyed ourselves and had a lot of fun. Not easy but not real hard. It's a nice course for mid teens handicap.
Decent course for the price
Riverside is a good course that looks like it gets alot of use. My only complaint would be that there are too many divots on the green, and some patches of brown grass near a few of the greens. The greens play at a decent speed and true even with all the divots and repaired divots. It is a nice course and fairly well maintained.
