Airways Golf Course

I play at Airways quite a bit, and with golfnow hot deals it's even better. Airways is always my go to course cause it's by my house. They've done a lot to update the course. Staff is awesome, food is really good, and the greens have been improved over the course of a year. Oh yeah they just got new Yamaha carts too.

The important stuff: greens are nice, fairways are average for municipal course, bunkers are good, tee boxes could use work but are accurate. The course is in good condition overall. The layout is tight fairways, small greens and tricky approach angles. This is my home/closest course so I enjoy it and will continue to play here.

Main issue: recently I have noticed and played through quite a few fivesomes. I always thought foresomes were the max but I'm seeing fivesomes here and while the course isn't overbooked or crazy busy, the larger groups slow down play.

It’s a great course to relax and enjoy without having to worry about pace. There are some bare spots that make it very challenging. All in all it’s kid friendly which is why I enjoy it because I am teaching my son how to golf.

It’s a great course for the price and especially for juniors. The lies are challenging but the greens are rolling very well.

Okay, so I only paid $15, but I've played nicer courses for a similar rate. Here's the rundown of this course

Fairways: Many consisted of a 10-15 yard wide strip of what could loosely be referred to as grass.

Rough: There is none, unless you consider dirt rough.

Tees: Flat and watered.

Greens and Bunkers: Probably the only bright spot. Greens and bunkers were well maintained when put in perspective with everything else. Greens are faster than a lot of primo courses I've played.

Staff: Staff was very friendly.

Place of Play: At least two foursomes stacked up on every hole. In credibly slow.

Overall: I guess if you're a beginning looking for a cheap place to play this course is for you, but I will not be returning.

Better scheduling by course manager. Dont schedule Hot Deal, we there are club tournament. A 4 hour round turned into a 6 round.

Green s are well kept, fairways needs some watering.

Reserved a tee time for airways golf course using the golf now app, locked in my time and price, you pay right then it worked out great the day of golf. I got the round of golf with cart for $15.00 you can't go wrong for that price.

Always a good time at Airways. I try to play there once a week. The staff is super friendly. The cafe has great customer service. And really good food. Try the onion rings. It's a fun course great greens,fairways are in good shape. Not a long course but can be fun for any skill level.just want to give a thumbs up too the AIRWAYS family thanks .

Course is getting much better with new management, but fairway could still be a lot better.

They are dumpin some $$$ into this course. Give it time and water and it will be a very good place to play.
