Airways Golf Course

Excellent greens, poor fairway, a lot of dirt and dust,.
Do not go in the rough because it is truly a rough place

It's a great course for the money. The fairways weren't in too good of shape, but the greens were in very good condition.

The staff at Airways are awesome. Adam and Jon and the ladies at the restaurant are very friendly and courteous. Kudos to the staff at Airways !!

I was extremely happy with the condition of the greens. Especially after playing River Island Country Club in Springville and Dragon Fly in Madera whom had just punched the greens. This is a basic course so you get a lot of local yahoo's that think they can golf mucking up the place chasing balls all over the course and across fairways. However this course is a quick play! Stay out of the trees and Cheers!

Slowest pace of play I've ever seen. First 3 holes no problem, free flowing... until the fourth hole. Then of came the first par three, with a 5-10 minute break in the action, no problem, not bad, that's reasonable. It got up to a 25 minute delay in play and bumper to bumper kind of traffic.
Too many players were booked to play that day. And it wasn't the first time its happened here. I understand its a municipal and cheap course, but it was not an enjoyable time. I usually resent seeing marshals but we could have used one that day to speed play or maybe bounce people around. Last time at Airways!

I like to golf airways because its cheap. Many times you hit off dirt and the fairway is patchy at best but the price recognizes this. The staff is always friendly and helpful which is a big plus for airways. Many of the expensive golf courses have terrible staff so this is noticeably different here. Love the staff, not too crowded, the greens are usually pretty nice so it is great value for the price.

My buddies and I try to play at least once a week and Airways is a great option when we are low on money and still want to have a good time. Staff is awesome. Don't expect great grass even on the fairways, but what do you expect for paying under $20. Wouldn't pay more than $25 for this course.

We had a great time playing airways, the fairways are a little below average, but the greens are in great shape and fast.
After our round we always like to grab a beer and something to eat ( they have excellent chicken tacos). We were a little disappointed to find that the grill was shut down (4 pm). that seemed a little too early, and there were still plenty of golfers out on the course. Hopefully with the time change it will stay open a little later.

If the fairways were anywhere near as good as the greens this would be a great course. It is short, but fun to play.

It's a good course, it just needs for golf marshal to be more on the course to tell groups of 4 or more to let let smaller groups go on by

Airways is always a pleasure to play, great greens, delicious food, friendly staff, well stocked pro shop. Definitely suggest play Airways.

I saw the advertisements to rate the course on Golf Advisor, so I came here out of curiosity just to read reviews. I had a great time during my round and I always do. I wasn't planning on posting until I saw the negative comments below. The new head pro (I forgot his name, but I see that it's Lee) has the place running so much more smoothly. I was shocked to see the reviews below about him. It's pretty suspicious that all reviews mention 2016, the new Pro Lee (by name, and always with Pro capitalized), same grammatical errors (comma splices), and same mention of how the old pro was so much better. I have only interacted with the new pro twice now, but he was NOTHING but kind and professional. He answered my questions with a smile and really knows his stuff. I would never describe him as being rude. Sure, there are less specials, but I would never hold that against the new pro and blame him for that. I'm sure he takes direction on what to do. He seems to be doing a great job, and I'll definitely be coming back, as will my friends. Just thought it was a bit suspicious ... these reviews below seem like they're posted by the same bitter person. Anyway, great course - the fairways are a little narrow, but the staff is definitely top notch, despite what the troll below says.
