Best shape I have seen in years.
Course is a little long for seniors and women. Greens are in the best shape I have seen in years. Still some bare spots on some greens. Have to move your ball so not to putt through them.
Great Course!
Absolutely Great Course! friendly players and staff. I played all 18holes, no houses around lots of shade trees and beautiful greens.
I was surprised by the accommodations
The fairways could have been cut shorter.
And the greens seemed slow.
The tee boxes were a little long.
However the course was really green and pretty. Our pace of play was amazing. And the staff was super nice.
I’ve read terrible reviews about this course. And I have to say this course was not too bad I would play it again!
The greens need help
They run the group’s to close together so everything is backed up and the greens have a lot of imperfections that make it hard to get a true role
Horrible greens
The greens are so bad. Lots of fungus and bare patches on the greens. Fairways were a combination of swamps and super dry bare patches. It’s sad because this course has so much potential. Our cart was so jerky. Had to turn the wheel 3/4 just to get it to move. I’m not sure if the staff doesn’t care or just doesn’t have the money to maintain the course.
Great old golf vourse but poorl maintained
This is a beautiful old golf course with mature oak trees and anice design. However, the tee boxes and greens are poorly maintained. The tee boxes are unmowed. Large areas of many greens have dead grass, many look to be replanted. Maybe the record hot weather in this area in early September did this damage???
Nope
This course had been over saturated. The holes were 3/4 water. The bunker was hard as a rock. Half of the greens were dirt. The greens were super spongy. You figure ok well it was a cheap course right? Nope even with so many flaws still was one of the most expensive courses in a 50 mile radius. If you go to this course it is because of the only available tee time. I would not recommend. It has so much potential. Hopefully in the near future maybe after restaffing I will try again.
Pleasant and shady
Well-preserved trees and beautiful grounds, though the greens are a little bare in places. It was a very pleasant afternoon there.
Poor Course conditions
Greens were really patchy with some sections covered in sand or overgrown by other grass. Greens really slow and fluffy T boxes not level, almost teeing up in rough. General course conditions dry and fairways conditions could be much better. Course is on both sides of a freeway and the road noise really detracts from the experience.
Horrible Coarse! Should be shut down for repairs
This place is the worst. Greens are soaked and full of mold. Landscape looks like it’s been abandoned. Restrooms are disgusting and look abandoned. Not what you expect when you pay $55 to play golf. I’ll never play here again.
Worst course we ever played at! Can’t believe they’re still open.
The coarse is so trashed! The fairways are not taken care of, the greens are soaked in water, with algae and dead spots all over the place. Two of the holes actually were full of water. Tee offs are in so dry areas you can barely shove a tee in the ground. The restrooms on the coarse were disgusting and looked like nobody has cleaned them in 10 years. The golf shop has so much junk in it and clothing hanging in bags it looks like a storage unit at a flea market. I’ve placed all over the world and can honestly say I’ve never seen a coarse in this condition. It could be a nice coarse if someone actually cleaned it up but right now it looks like someone just purchased it from an auction or something. And the price they charge to play there I’d rather play at Apple Mountain. With the condition this place is in right now I probably will never place there again, even if they only charged $10 I still would pass. Get it together, this is sad that they are even open.
I Should Have Listened
A good friend told me that Dry Creek Ranch is never in good condition. I only went because it was the only course that still had early tee times on Labor Day. At least half of the holes had dirt on the greens and weren't even green. There were repair flags on a number of greens and the course was muddy in random places when it hadn't rained for weeks. I've never written a bad review for any course, but this one deserves it.
Great course
Some of the greens were sun damaged but fluffy in the nice parts. Understandable to keep them hydrated in this severe drought. Slow rolling greens. Nice course for the money, can be challenging if not played with course management.
Thank you for your review. At the time you played the course had just opened 2 weeks prior and we were just catching up on everything. The course was completely under water and could not get mowers on the field. Come check us out again and tell us what you think. Everything has been mowed down and grass in places that were just bare ground.
