Oak Mountain Championship Golf Course

This was my first time playing Oak mountain. Great layout in great shape. I will play it again soon

Our golf crew hadn't been to OMGC in several years due to travel constraints. We decided to visit again based on reviews from others and I must say we were very pleased. Great greens! Course requires some prior knowledge to play it with confidence. We'll be back!

Very good course. Really enjoyed it. There is a lot of character to it and there's just enough space between the course and the houses on it. Beautiful area

Played this course multiple times and it is in good shape and has a challenge for every level of golfer. The greens had recently been punched so putting was difficult to say the least but will be very nice in about 7-10 days when they are healed up.

Bent greens were in excellent shape. Some tight fairways in a few spots but other wise a nice layout! From the blues/gold you will use most of the clubs in your bag.

Course in good condition enjoyable layout A little rough around the cart paths but did't impact play at all. Greens were soft and rolled great

Beautiful course with many outstanding holes with outstanding features and difficult shots to be played., with five (5) different tee boxes for all golfers that makes the course enjoyable regardless of ability.
The staff was very friendly and showed they appreciated your playing their course. Just an outstanding experience from our group.

This course is GORGEOUS ... $30 for 18 and a cart? Awesome!! Extremely challenging though ... super hilly, lots of blind shots, really need a GPS to know where some of the water is. Going back TODAY to play again. Not really walkable on account of the hills, but I'm going to give it a shot today ... fingers crossed. If you're in the area it's a MUST PLAY.

Haven't played here in a while due to the distance from home. Conditions were good, with a small amount of some type of "weedy" grass in most fairways, but predominantly, Bermuda was lush. Greens were super soft, but rolled true. Windy conditions made playability tougher. Attendant behind counter at pro shop was not that friendly. Other than that, and the guys in front of us who thought they were pros (playing the tips), and hitting it all over the place, it was an enjoyable day. Kind of what I expected for a Fourth of July round.

Both my friend and I were intro'd to Oak Mtn on Golf Now so the price was right. Now I have a LONG drive from the City of Atlanta so I have to balance the price with that but the course has been REALLY good shape, the staff friendly and helpful and the pace of play acceptable (it'll NEVER be fast enough for me :-) ) I would recommend Oak Mtn to anyone and will certainly return. I was NOT happy at all that the grill couldn't get the ladies US Open on for us. Tom

I had a great time playing at Oak Mountain. Greens were in perfect condition and the ball rolled true on line. Fairways and Tee Boxes were also in great shape being cut and debits filled with sand. Finally, the Faculty was very friendly and courteous. The different views of the West North Georgia area were awesome. I highly recommend this course!

Very good course. Well maintained from the tee box to the greens. This course is rated correctly and was a good value. This was a make up round from my son for fathers day, because we had played a course that was in poor shape earlier in the week. Thanks Son and Oak Mt. Golf for a great round.

This golf course offers a fair play but when I played it was windy and it proved to be a challenge in some holes, specially the ones with a long carry to the fairways. However, I think it is a matter of coming back again to get a better feel for it. It is a beautiful course.

I've not played Oak Mountain in a couple of years but I'll be back soon. The course is in great condition with nice turf on fairways and excellent greens. There's a few blind (dogleg) holes so the hole diagram adjacent to tee box helps. We played as a threesome and we really enjoyed the course, including the pace of play. Although it's about a 45 minute drive from my Atlanta residence, it is well worth the drive.

I'm on a limited budget so I shop Golf Now for bargain tee times. I play Oak Mtn. as often as I can when I can find a discounted tee time there. Great course and friendly staff.
