From the tee box to the fairways to the greens Indian Palms Country Club is a course friendly to all golfers. And the staff is as friend and welcoming as any course I e played on.
Nice overseed. Good practice/warm up facility. Good pace = 4 hours. Some tight holes and others forgiving. Greens tough/nice condition.
Indian Palms Golf
This course is similar to many in the valley .
It is getting old and tired and lacking maintenance due to the fact the course got old and membership has declined.and the rack rate is to high for what you get.
The courses (three nines) are a bit tight so you have to have a close to center shot to enjoy yourself, if the rate is right I would go back everyone is friendly and the place is clean. they are doing fine during the tough times.
Give a try.
Have golfed there many times in previous years, but disappointed this time. Course is not in good condition, one of the nine holes was closed so really really busy and pace of play, slow, over 2 1/2 hrs for front nine, not good.
Christmas Day Golf
The gold course was quite nice, the staff were very friendly, the drinks and food were good too. What else could one want for Christmas??
A fun day!
Joined a couple who live close by in Alberta. Played the Indian and Mountian nines from the blues!
Just tough enough to keep it very interesting; but, not so hard that you could not have fun.
Both mines in great condition, although the greens were very slow on the mountain side.
Pace of play was good and the starter was very helpful in getting me off early!
Same as last time, this course looks like it is slowly going out of business like many other Coachella Valley country club community golf courses. Minimum maintenance on everything, unlevelled tee boxes, horrible fairways, below average greens. They never tell you that the back nine is dormant until you get there and pay, we found out when we got to hole 10 and it was totally dead. Ok for a practice round with the family, no serious golfing here.
9 of the hole were in good shape, the other 9 hole looked liked they were abandon.
The royal nine was anything but royal. If you like playing on dirt then this is your course. they think that the GolfNow hot deals make up for it being a bad golf course, but I'm of the mind you need to have a little pride in what you put out there for people to play.
Good course with great history
I would recommend IPCC for all levels of golfers, men and women, young and old. It is a great place to play and the staff members are outstanding.
When I got to the Course they did not have my reservation in their computer. They made arrangements for me to start on the back 9 immediately. Very accommodating. Will play there again.
Wonderful place to play!
The course is one of the oldest in the Coachella Valley with outstanding history, formerly known at the 'President's Course'. It is a challenge to play narrow fairways, water and bunkers.
Staff is great. I would recommend to everyone to play at IPCC.
I’ve palsied this course many times. It’s a good course that you can play for a great price.
If you’re looking for a golf course that reflects the true beauty of The mountainous desert, you won’t like this course. You’re pretty much confined to playing golf through a narrow blah retirement community. Several of the ponds and streams were dry. Fairways and greens were ok, but bunkers were hard and muddy. Playing this course once was enough for me.
This course isn’t to my liking. I could hit one into the homes on pretty much every hole, and it was just plain lucky that I only lost one today. The Indian is a little more interesting than the Royal, and it was in better shape today, too. Great service and the facility looks pretty good, too. Just too many houses for me, and they are just too close.
