This course isn’t to my liking. I could hit one into the homes on pretty much every hole, and it was just plain lucky that I only lost one today. The Indian is a little more interesting than the Royal, and it was in better shape today, too. Great service and the facility looks pretty good, too. Just too many houses for me, and they are just too close.
One of the oldest golf courses in the desert
Older course so not as manicured, but still a fun course to play. Had some tricky holes that would challenge your skills. Our party of 4 enjoyed the day.
Great Value for the Money
The course is in very good shape. They’ve been roasting the sanding and punching. The staff were outstanding in explanation of where and how you play. Very little waiting. Well run.
Sunday Family outing
Nice course. Very friendly staff. Not to difficult for the average player
27 holes all being reseeded. One closed looking good my be opening soon.
Other two very dry.
Played a little over a week ago and condition was better on both Royal and Mountain nines then so it seems maybe they both are being readied for overseeding soon as there was not much grass today to hit off
Great staff. boring layout. Poor amenities.
Some of the friendliest staff we’ve encountered on this trip however it lacked some basic amenities.
Water? How does a course in the Palm Desert not have water or coolers available when it’s 90 deg?
No ball washers.
Course coming back very nicely from overseed.
The Royal nine desert areas could use some cleanup but overall greens are decent and it is good value for money.
Staff are very helpful
Course could use some work bare spots on the fairways greens were quite slow some fairways were tight very close to houses nothing outstanding just a average resort type course
Keep it straight
A typical gated community course where the fairways are lined with houses. The houses are possibly closer to the fairway than some but it is not an overly long course. The greens ran true and overall it was a good test of golf.
Value for money
Not fancy or impeccably manicured. Some unfinished real estate areas intermingled with pretty holes. but very playable. Recommend it for budget conscious players.
People need to support these properties and others like it so they. can stay open and be a budget alternative in the desert.
We play a lot and appreciate the high end golf experience but we enjoyed our round.here as well, amd will be back.
Course in overseeding phase
Layout is good, condition not so good lots of ants on the greens crawling up ones legs
Course was closed
When we arrived the course was closed and nobody called to tell us about it. A bummer after driving 45 minutes.
Great history and wonderful course
IPCC is a wonderful course to play, would recommend to all level of golfers. It has a great history as one of the oldest in the Coachella Valley. Presidents and movie stars have stay and played at this course.
Come enjoy the history and the course.
The course is very tight but very interesting as this coarse was closed for a month from re shading believe it or not not bad for the first day open would like to re play this coarse in a month and can bet you it will have teeth
