Old Brockway Golf Course
About
Old Brockway Golf Course is a scenic nine-hole course that offers spectacular mountain vistas and panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. The charming landscape is sprinkled with towering Jeffrey pines, meadows, and meandering streams. It was the first nine-hole course in the country to become certified as an Audubon cooperative sanctuary. The classic layout features tight fairways and postage stamp greens, putting a premium on accuracy and careful strategy. Bunkers and water hazards provide even more challenged. Old Brockway Golf Course has always been a local favorite and it has been host to countless celebrity golfers including Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope and Joe Kennedy.

Beautiful 9 hole
Staff is really friendly and the course is in good condition!
Nice
Played in late afternoon. Great value. fairways were kind of hard, but good overall.
One More Reason To Visit Tahoe
Enjoyable, non-stress walk in the pines. Some holes easy, others not so much. Course was in nice condition. Greens were not fast, but contoured enough to challenge. Golf Now red flag rate was attractive, but I'm not so sure the course justifies the standard rate.
Not pretentious, complicated-just get out and play
My daughter said it reminds her of the Canadian golf courses, dense greenery, mature evergreens, seclusion-once you finished with the first 2 holes, the road noise vanishes.
Comfortable clubhouse, ambience and friendly staff
Judgemental bad service
Lady in pro shop was very judge mental when she had no idea who I was or what I did. Get it the course has some history and is ancient but that has no reason for someone to judge you upon the way you look. I get treated with the most respect at every other local course. Don't think I will be going back.
Great views
This course has great views of the lake and the staff is very friendly
Always fun
Took a friend for a quick nine at Brockway, early season but in great shape. Pretty course, some hard holes from the back tees, easy walk. If your in town and have the time its worth playing.
9 holes of Heaven!
Garrett was amazing! Made us feel very welcome, like we were visiting his home.
The course is unusually beautiful scenery, coupled with immaculate grounds keeping. The greens are perfect!
We can't wait to play there again!!
It's Shangri-La!
Relaxing
It was a nice day and because I had other things that had to be done so 9 holes fit the bill. The course is downright beautiful.
Great course and friendly staff
Very enjoyable course in great condition. All staff and grounds keepers were friendly and helpful
Course has nice layout
Tough but great greens. Course was easier 2nd time through.
Great course!
This was my second time playing here and it was great. The course is simple, but not boring and the grass is always the best in the area. The staff members are always super friendly and treat you so much better than the course down the road in Truckee, Ponderosa. Don't get me started about that horrible place. Just read the reviews if you want to know. Play here and support Old Brockway. They are running a top notch 9 hole golf course.
Nice 9 hole course
Staff was very friendly, the scenery was great. No rush and plenty of space.
Best 9 hole walk in golf.........!
If your looking for a round of golf that makes you remember why we all play this game, then Old Brockway is the one!
Nice place
Very nice GC, I will play again. Walked but nexttime I will rent a cart
Old Brockway Rocks
My wife an I played this course for the first time. the resident golf pro was very friendly. The course is amazing. Beautiful fairways with small target greens. Two par 5's 555 yards and another 444 yards. We played it twice and loved the challenge. Fairways are narrow but the giant evergreens and great layout make up for the challenge. Pack some extra balls.
this course is beautiful
My husband and I would definitely golf here again.
Great experience
We couldn't have picked a better starting time, 6:45 in the morning. We had a foursome and because of golf now were able to play for a total of 48.00. Beautiful coarse, nice people, and incredible lake views throughout the coarse. We will play it again next time we are in Carnelian Bay.
Brockway
Sweet historic course! Highly recommend. Holes 8 and 9 have good views going back towards the Lake.
I like this course
I've played here for many years. Nice 9-hole course with one hole playable as a par-4 or par-5. Easy to get to with great views. Course is typically maintained well and well worth the drive to the north part of the lake.
