Horrible
The golf course is in very bad condition, there is no signage between the holes, do not go
Poor Course
Very hilly, max hole length was about 130. Not all tee boxes were grass (some turf), and those that were were very difficult to tee up in. Greens had leaves all over and were very dry. If you want a quick pitch and putt it's fine, but would not recommend.
Fun and challenging
I've been taking new golfers to Sun Valley for over 15 years and it is very short and somewhat challenging because of the elevations and the positioning of the greens on slopes and mounds. I feel that Sun Valley is a great place to start or to refresh your skills and the only drawback is the condition of the greens.
Poor conditions little challenge
Even though it is drought season, this course was in very poor shape. Very little green grass and the actual greens were lumpy bumpy and very fuzzy. Granted it was very cheap to play but no real practice for one's game. I may try it again during the winter months and see if it improves.
Sons 1st time golfing great day
It was my sons first time golfing. We could t have picked a better place. The staff was great as well as the turkey club with bacon. Homemade sandwich you could tell they took there time making the sandwich very good. The greens were in good shape, t boxes needed a little lovin. Overall a great place to bring a child to learn the game or pea rice your short game. It seems like they cater to kids, they offer kids lessons and a kids club. The pace of play was prefect, u don't have to worry about people getting mad about slow play. Everyone out there was very nice and relaxed the way it should b. thank u sun valley.
GOOD ELEVATIONS
This is a good course for practicing your short game, using your wedges and 9 irons, good for beginners and kids.It is also a good walking workout while playing golf. Also they have a driving range to practice up a little before playing. The deli is great. I had the turkey bacon club, very tasty.very friendly staff.I will be going back at least once a week to practice the short game.
Nice challenges
The course was not as pristine as the courses that I am use to in palm springs but some of the height diversions were pretty cool from the tee box. I'd come back just for that.
Great for kids and patient parents.
This 9-hole par-3 public course is perfect for introducing kids to the game. What they save on course maintenance, they spend on tremendously helpful, upbeat staff. My kids (3 boys) had a great time. I got to practice some wedge-work and putting. Good family fun.
Lots of Elevation Changes
A great little course to mess around on and work on your short game.
