Just Fun

The Mulligan Course at Ballyneal is 12 holes of fun that you can play over and over without getting bored. Grab a couple wedges, your buddies and go hit some shots.

Each of the holes on the Mulligan Course has unique character, and the greens all have slopes to feed your ball to or away from the hole. It is a really fun time! We didn't see any 1s in our group, but we had lots of 2s.

If you get to Ballyneal, make time to play the Mulligan Course.

A fun evening walk at Ballyneal

This 12-hole par-3 course built by Tom Doak in 2017 really enhanced the whole Ballyneal experience. The big course at Ballyneal by Doak is a big walk, so 36 holes in a day is almost an impossible task.
This fills the void. It's great fun with a nice range of yardages. You can play most holes from 85 yards to 145 yards. Two holes stretch to 180 yards-plus.
There's a fun blind hole (no. 6) where you aim over a turtle decoration sitting on the ridge and plenty of wild greens.
The weird part of the routing is the 12th green finishes a distant walk back to the clubhouse. You can either walk in (as we did) or pick a few greens to shoot for coming home, essentially creating a couple extra bonus holes.
There are two alternate loops suggested on the scorecard, so I can't wait to return to play them.
