The course has maintained very well.
The course was maintained very well even though we had many rainy days.
Turkey Creek
Great course, just be prepared to play a 5.5-6 hr round if you play on a weekend. No marshals and no one seeming to care about pace of play. Other than that great course.
Rude employee
Ever since I’ve started playing Turkey Creek I’ve always known that the practice putting green to be putting only, NO CHIPPING was allowed. I remember even seeing signs to remind people of that. Well Saturday the 9th of March we had the 11:20am tee time. I was putting before my tee time and there was a person chipping near me. At first it was just a few feet then he started to fly them 20-30ft. I mentioned that this was putting only and I didn’t appreciate having to worry about getting hit with a flying ball. The person chipping told me to bad I work here. I said so that gives you the right to do whatever you want and he replied “yep” I said WOW I’m very comfortable with having to dodge chip shots. He mumbled something under his breath and continued a few more shots then walked away. I don’t know the name of the employee but he was Hispanic and his tee time was the second group behind us. We started at 11:20 so I’m thinking his time was 11:40 or 11:45. I’ll still play Turkey Creek but if this is how you let your employees act and talk to your guest there’s a big problem.
Turkey Creek
Turkey Creek is fun challenging course. Greens were great but the fairways were a little iffy. Which is not unusual for February golf and the amount of rain we've had. The biggest issue here is Pace of Play! Despite having GPS on the carts it doesn't do any good if you're not paying attention to it. On a fairly busy day you should never allow groups to fall over a hole behind. Other than that, the staff was great!
Great condition as usual
This is one of my favorite courses, and it's in my regular rotation of courses in the Rocklin area which I play. It was in great condition. We've had a lot of rain recently, and other courses in the area have been very wet and soggy, but Turkey was in excellent shape, with only a few minor wet/muddy areas.
The greens were in very good shape, running smooth and true.
Looking forward to my next visit.
Saturday slow..
Had fun, nice group haven’t played much in months. Course is a good layout, a little soggy but you would expect. Play was slow, not sure why, was t cart path only. Too many people looking in the woods
Awesome course
Post rain course excellent drainage for carts on grass
Scenic holes with trees, elevated tees and greens, water hazards
Worth drive to Lincoln
My Favorite!
I alway enjoy playng Turkey Creek. Every hole is unique some easy some challenging and difficult. You have to have good course management to get good score.
Fairways were dry enough for cart go in considering heavy rain the night before. Greens were rolling well.
Definitely coming back!
Beautiful day at a beautiful course
The greens were an outstanding shape, and the staff was very courteous as usual!
Good course
I liked the layout. The course was definitely in winter mode they had a fair amount of rain a couple days before i played and it showed. The greens were the best part really nice speed and true. Pace was a little slow the group in front of us wouldn’t let us thru even after we talked to the marshal? Probably wouldn’t have mattered as the course was pretty full.
Hi,
We apologize for the pace on Saturday, We do in fact staff a morning and afternoon marshal every weekend. Unfortunately, the 60 player tournament in the morning were inexperienced golfers, and were not able to play at a reasonable pace despite our best efforts. We hope you understand, and thank you for your feeback.
~Kindest Regards,
