Lockeford Springs Golf Course

Golfnow and the course overlap t times. For example, the course would list a t time at 12:30 and golfnow also listed at the same time. When both or all the double booked t times showed up, everyone is stacked up. During the day of play, there are too many people on the course and they also play very slow. This makes it impossible to complete 18 holes since my group waited at least 5 minutes in every single hole of play. For 5 and a half hours, we completed 16 holes. I would not recommended courses that you see double t times available since there will be too many people if pacing is an issue for you.

Liked the course but the rough needs to be cut down a little hard to find balls not hit in fairways due to grass clippings

Nice course, well kept fairways and greens. Pace of play was a tad slow but not to bad.

Considering we were playing in winter wet conditions the greens were true and fairways well kept

Course was fun to play. In good condition for this time of year.

This place is great. Only a few holes near the highway, but Hwy 88 is quiet enough even those holes hardly matter.

The back 9 is especially nice, surrounded by vineyards. Hit it straight and you're good. Its a long course with some narrow portions.

It is pretty long, and the holes are far apart. You could walk it, but it would be pretty slow.

Challenging, but not unapproachable. A few lost balls, but nothing serious.

Booked a $29 on GolfNow. The course is surrounded by flat vineyards in Lodi, an emerging wine powerhouse. Conditions were great in October, considering the major drought we are in. Greens were fast , and fairways were well-kept. Clubhouse is spartan, though, and the grill /bar was surprisingly limited in terms of selection. I expected something a little more lushly appointed for wine country. At under $30 bucks, though, maybe I'm being unreasonable.

Go play it you won't regret it..

Well, I was very impressed to see the course in the conditon that it was. I remember playing this course as a junior golfer and the course always being in great condition. Years after it went down so I naturally stopped playing it. I just wanted to play it recently and I was very impressed to see the greens in a very nice condition. Not as firm as the past but receptive and true to the roll. Pace of play was great. I will definitely be back to play this course. Thanks again to the staff!

The course is kept up really well. I never get tired of this course. I can play it all the time. I always bring my friends.

The course was in pretty good condition considering the drought. My only complaint would be that finding your way to the next hole can be difficult.

Course was in pretty good shape. Have to get off a good tee shot on many of the holes. Played from the white tees. Had a 455 yard par 4. Oh boy. Will play again.

LS is good course to work on your game. The different tee boxes creates a slightly different course. The greens roll ok but are very slow. As a result you have to take most of the break out. This course is close to home I play it several times a month.

Been going here a few times a year for a while. This is the driest I've seen the course. Still very playable and in their defense all the courses I've played lately are drying out fast this year. Bar cart prices are cheap compared to other local courses. Definitely recommend.

I have played here several times.....I like this course a lot....wide fairways, nice greens, surrounded by vineyards, makes it easy to find a wayward drive.

course was in average condition, keep eyes on balls off the fairway as second cut is long & balls can be lost a foot off the fairway in deep cut! other than that it was a great day for golf!

Challenge your golf game and is a good test of where your handicap really stands. Food there is the biggest hurdle and pro shop is out dated

5 plus hours to play 18 the course was in good shape no marshall or cart girl on the course
maybe the good rate had something to do with this weekend play.

It's a very scenic course with paths running near the vineyards. The undulating fairways offer some interesting challenges. Some of the green side bunkers are the largest I've ever seen. Many elevated greens. We enjoyed it!

1st time played about 20 years ago. This only 2nd time. Weather was light rain off & on, not the courses fault. Driving range not accessible by cart. Markers at the tee box, no map. Markers guiding to next hole, missing or placed poorly, hard to navigate, easy to get lost. 50 Yard, & 200 Yard markers non-existent. Otherwise, had a good day in spite of the weather. Love to play golf. Course markers need attention. Thanks for the offer to review.
