Dont bother.
Loved Lombok....but not this experience. Dont get me wrong it is a fun, slightly short by modern standards, layout with some great views and some pretty holes but...
So green fees were 1,000,000 rph ($100 aud dollars) the pick up from the main tourist area of Senggigi was 450,000 rph ($45 aud) and a small basket of balls for the range was 50,000 rph...so we are talking $150 AUD to play. The range has cows on it...its best feature. Then we were off in the cart with the compulsory caddie. Here is where things go a bit awry. The caddie does not speak english, she is not a golfer, her yardages are a guess from the fairway posts and she has never caddied for anyone who hits their drives around 280 yrds. She could not tell me where not to hit the ball, when to hit three wood rather than driver or any of the other caddie fundamentals.
No problem, i am used to playing courses i have no knowledge of, except that i have paid for this caddie in the inflated green fee and then i had to tip her at the end of the round! I paid about $15 AUD in tip and i am pretty sure i got sworn at.
There is no club house, just a large tent with some tables and a till with a fridge for drinks.
I enjoyed the round despite hitting a number of drives really well into the wrong spots but i would not have bothered dragging my clubs through airport customs and hotel lobbies if I had known what i was in for.
For half the price this course would be worth the effort but not as I played it.
