this course needs help
I play this course regularly. The conditions are fair greens ok. Some fairways are like walking in a cow pasture. That being said I find the course challenging with tree lined. fairways some are narrow. Playing golf on a mountain requires some extra balance as you are always hitting on a slope.. Paradise ca
Horrible course conditions
Ive played this 9 hole course many times. Ususally, the course is in decent condition, however, they have stopped watering the fairways. All fairway grass is dead. Greens are still semi green, but in bad overall shape.
Poor greens
Take your old set of clubs out because it's a rocky course to play. Hardly any green grass
great .fun challeging place to play
very fun, beautiful course to play, keeps you honest yet still very enjoyable
great cource and people
I have enjoyed playing here! It beats being a member at some dump down the road where integrity and honesty don`t exsist, but you won`t here me say tuscanridge.Opps! I just did!
nice 9 hole GL
The course a lot of dry grass the green's were small and kind of hard but not to bad no water hazard's Tree's line the fairway some mobile home's too turkey and deer narrow fairways friendly staff kind of short GC some sun burn on the green's
Somewhat of a let down
I have played paradise pines a lot and would normally say it is the best course for the price. With that being said, I am highly disappointed in the quality of the course as of late. The grass hadn't been mowed in quite some time, and the patches of bare spots(hard packed clay) were so numerous it made it next to impossible play.
Great Challenging 9 Hole Course that is a Nice Change of Pace!
This course is a great 9 hole course. Don't overlook that it's only 9 holes it still holds many great challenges like narrow fairways and a Par 5. Greens are in great condition even currently when other local courses are extremely dry. I recommend this course if you would like a nice change of pace and need to work on your short game. I'll revisit this course soon.
Nice course in the pines,The greens are also good
Nice course with a friendly staff. The course is in the pines with nice homes along the course.Great value.
nice setting...tahoe like setting
lush mature pines line all nine holes......driveable par 4's, and an excellent "tune up" course for the tourney player...if u can drive these greens, you can work the ball anywhere...lots of undulation and break on the greens...not super fast, but challenging...as they r quite tiny...all in all...i would give this an 8 outta 10... if the grass grew a little better in the fairways...play Paradines Pines to get outta of the heat...but don't bring a C game to this course...u could end up in the adjacent neighbors yard or grill...it's that tight... the Tahoe like setting make it a gem of course..get a deal on line and play this course...you will enjoy it (particularly the skilled player)
Good Practice Facility
Course is fairly short so 9 holes is a great walk. Some par 4's are reachable which is fun. 2 long par 3's are challenging and the short 9th makes finishing w/ a birdie quite possible. Not too crowded usually so little waiting. Not much chance for long irons but excellent opportunities to work on your short game. Fairways mostly good..some dry spots. Greens roll well but speed a little inconsistant. Sand traps well groomed. Some tee boxes need a little work. All in all, very playable and in good enough condition to practice some aspects of your game. If your time and money are short, this course works out great, especially if you live nearby.
Short par 68 nine hole course set with beautiful tree lined fairways.
This course is in good shape. It has narrow fairways which call for accuracy. The staff, especially Linda, treat you with superb guest service. I played yesterday and booked through Golf Now.com and got a green fee of $4.00. I played nine and it took me exactly an hour, which is the time I had allowed. I rented an electric cart to help keep the time short as I had an appointment.
Nice little 9 hole
The course is well maintained right now. They had recently plugged the greens but they are looking real good. For those that have never played, it is a short narrow course nestled in a residential area of magalia. It's easy to score well if you are straight off the tee. Overall it's a fun course but not one I'd want to play exclusively.
great mountain couse for a nine holer
This is a great course for a hus/wife time together-very pretty course and area. Nicely kept and relaxed play nice people running it-this a retirement area so most are seniors and good folks. We have played several times when in the area
Great Spring Time Course
Greens are great right now! Very narrow and tough fairways so play smart with your irons. Course gets pretty rough in the summer so nows the time.
Very nice course with a family feel.
Beautiful mountain course. Very friendly staff. Not overly crouded. Great for casual play.
Fun little course
Short course with some sharp dog-legs and traps to add interest. In the pines above Paradise. Not very busy, so we finished 9 holes in about an hour and a half. Small greens with lots of bunkers, so bring your short game. If you have a bad slice or hook (not many with that problem), you will lose balls to yards of houses that line the fairways. Easy course to walk, but there are a couple of pitchs to climb. Looking forward to going back.
Challenging 9 hole course.
Greens just a little bumpy due to recent aireation. Challenging due to trees on the side, uphill greens and fairways. Dog legs right and left. If you get past 5,6 and 7, you will do well.
Great little course.
Good over all course.
This course is challenging do to elevation changes though out the course and is narrow, would like to see some earlier tee times at this course though your web site.
Fine course for the area
Good greens and nice conditions at this course. Unlike many other high traffic courses in the area, this gem in the mountains is always in better shape. You do have to hit straight to avoid the tall ponderosa pines. It is 50/50 if you don't!
