Very pleasant round
Pace was a tad slow (4hrs 35mins) but I was a good round none the less. Course just had rain on it and other than a few bunkers, was in super shape.
needs a little TLC
FAIRWAYS NEEDS SOME MAJOR ATTENTION , BUNKERS NEEDS SAND, PRO SHOP NEEDS EVERYTHING, COFFEE SHOP AND GRILL NEEDS TO REOPEN WITH A FULL STAFF. LETS JUST SAY SINCE NEW MANAGEMENT TAKEN OVER 2 YEARS AGO THINGS ARE NOT THE SAME BIG TIME THERE NOT LOYAL TO THE CITY, GUESS, PLAYERS AND MOST IMPORTANT THE GOLF COURSE.

Diamond in the Rough
1. NEEDS SAND IN THE BUNKERS PLEASE.
2. Needs some serious reseeding or convert bare fairways to desert scapes to save on watering cost and gardening cost too.
3. Change back to starting on hole #1.

Condition getting worse each time I visit...
I been at this course several times in the past few years and noticed that each time I visit, the course condition is getting worse.
Bunkers were as hard as a cart path, fairway has lots of spots missing the grass.
Definitely it shows that owner is not maintaining it as they are probably thinking on renovations.
Also, what I don't like is that they always charge an extra $.78 cent when paying. It is not a lot so don't care much but they should make a note that there is a charge for "xxxx" so golfers are aware of with .
Not sure if it was because of the weather but it was not busy when I played (1:50pm) but maybe it was not the winds but the course condition.
I will only come back if there is no other options in the area..
Very sad in finding the course in such condition...

Get out there early
If you want to breeze through this course get out there early because it can get packed up quick. 9 hole round took me less than a hour and half to through. Fairways were a bit muddy in some areas, greens were nice.

Pace of play
too long time wait evey hole...finished 18hole more than 5hour and 10min....
Marshall need to work for keeping pace of slower players

I WAS WAITING FOR 40 MINUTES TO REPLACE CHARGED CART.
The golf cart's battery was dead at 6th holes.
I was called 3 times and I was waiting for 40 minutes for the staff to brought the golf cart.

Showed up and no carts were available. that was one of the reasons for going there. Golf now let me down :-(

Once upon a time this course was friendly and well maitanade
All you staff are ridiculous, feels like. Gangters needing money for everything. Need cart ? We dont have. Bery unfriendly. Montebello was one of my favorate Colf Course. Was Well Amazing Staff. Where are they.?
Maybe Montebello need to fire everyone on the course and re hire New Manageament Person
