Early tee time
Had an early tee maybe 30 minutes before sun break. I knew the course had lights so I that’s why I picked that tee time. (6am). They only had the lights for the first hole fairway. Had to put in the dark and play the next 2 holes in the dark. Would be great if they could have the lights on during that time if they are taking tee times that early.
Starter course for sure
Great location, great views. Small course and still has share of challenges in most course holes. It offers fast pace play and an excellent driving range for practice.
Early round
The speed of play was great because it was very early in the morning.
Great Short 9-hole Course
This is a great option for LA players looking to work on their short game. My only issue was having to hit off mats on every hole. But the course was in great shape and offered more varied holes and layouts than most Par 3's I have played in the city. Definitely will play again.
Terrible service
Staff allowed a group of 6 sharing only 2 sets of clubs onto the course. They held about 4-6 groups back taking 2 hours for the 1st two holes. No one is here to hold pace of play and all the golfers walk all over the staffers. If you don’t want to spend an entire day waiting to play 9 holes this Is a place you MUST AVOID. Staff is terrible at their jobs
Love this Course
I absolutely love playing here at this course. This is the course I started playing and practicing on. It’s a nice 9 hole course with nice fairways/greens, not too many dry patches, it is very well maintained. This course would be perfect if they took away the mats. That would be the only negative thing I see about this course. I prefer hitting off of tees not off of mats but other than that this is one of my favorite 9 hole spots.
Extremely backed up. Had 930am tee time; got on first tee at 10am
Perfect but for the mats...
Nice little hidden gem in east LA. Really green and cool when I played. Greens and fairways were really well maintained. Tight course with a fun elevation change one hole, bring your accurate irons or you won’t get a chance to enjoy the difficult reads on the putts.
Oh yeah it was pretty crowded and your’re hitting off mats but it’s still a good time.
First Time at Course
Overall experience was good. Range was good, especially with the automatic tee system. No need to grab a ball from the bucket or bend down to tee up ball. Easy to use system at the range to lower and higher the tee.
Course was in decent shape. Only thing that I didn't care for but it was no issue was that they had many hitting mats at the tee box at each hole. If you like elevation changes, you will like this course.
Ripped off
Purchased a small bucket of balls which is 45 balls and they gave me 30 balls only. Asked nicely twice but never resolved the issue. Will not recommend this driving range. Alhambra driving range is better
