Copper Canyon Golf Club - Mountain/Vista Course
The course at Copper Canyon Golf Club is deceptively exclusive in that although the club has prestige and a luxurious atmosphere, there are some reasonably priced tee times. The layout features an interesting mix of holes that offer panoramic views of the White Tank Mountains to the south. The large, undulating greens that are framed by generous fairways are the trademark of the course. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are also sand bunkers situated throughout. This golf course offers four sets of teeboxes. Copper Canyon Golf Club has extensive practice facilities for golfers to use as well, including a full length driving range with several target greens, a large practice putting green, and a short game area with a bunker.

Good Course, but houses are close
Conditions are great and everyone there was very nice and helpful, the typical Troon experience. The issue I had with the course is that most of the holes invite you to really go after it. There are some fairway bunkers that can be taken out of play with a big drive, but many of the holes have houses not far off the fairway. Any kind of crosswind or double cross can put them in play, so I found myself having to hold back, which kind of ruined the experience.
A very enjoyable round. There was a frost delay, but it didn’t really affect the round. The course was in excellent shape all the way around! Pace of play was good and the layout of the course was very enjoyable. Greens were pretty tricky with few straight putts, but a great challenge.
Played an early round in December so a little on the cool side....but course was great! Staff was friendly and helpful!
Will be back!!!!!
Slow play was an issue. No Marshall on the course to manage pace of play.
Great course, excellent condition!
The entire experience was great, from the moment we pulled into the parking lot! The staff was great and very friendly. I highly recommend this course!
Always Fun to Play
The course was only open on the front nine to play two times due to over-seeding on the back nine. However, this was not a problem as you can play multiple tees making the 2nd nine all different clubs. The fairways were perfect. The green were slow due to not cutting them short yet but again were in excellent condition. In addition, cart path only, but we still played in 4 hours.
Only got to play the back 9 due to over seeding but thoroughly enjoyed myself. Great bar and grill after and if you can keep your tee shots straight you can score here. A bit pricey for some. Worth trying out
The fairways and greens were in excellent condition. Best condition of all courses we played in Surprise AZ area this trip (includes Verado Founders and Palm Valley). Personnel were very helpful and were sincere in having us as guests. Dining was a good experience too.
Even in the rain this course shines.
It poured rain for the first 7 holes or so. Still had a great time. Other than the rain I couldn't find one thing wrong with the course. The staff was friendly and courteous at all times. Tom B. the starter was great. The greens are OUTSTANDING! The fairways were in great shape. I had played a fancy Scottsdale (or snobsdale) course the week before and this place kicked its butt with one hand behind its back. A TKO in the first round. The greens and fairways were a bit soft due to the rain, but the water drained off fairly quickly. There were no big sloshy areas or mud puddles. Obviously, the collection areas off to the side of the fairways were full, but that's what they're for. I did not see a beverage cart so you'll want to stock up before going out. There are coolers on the cart. We played in about 4 hours or so. Not bad, not great. Right about on time. The rain slowed a few groups down in front of us or we would have gone faster. Even in the rain I had a great time here.
West West Side Gem
Great staff, friendly and available - greens are solid, fairways are wide and the pace of play was appropriate. Actually saw the marshall a few times which usually doesn’t happen in the summer months. Definitely worth the drive. Have lunch at Indigo, prime rib sandwich was legit and the Arnold Palmers where on point at 70/30 ice tea to lemonade. Thank you Copper Canyon for making my Saturday worth the visit. We will be back for sure!
Good time good folks
From check in to the snack bar good folks. Course in good shape
Really worth the drive. Great layout. Wonderful staff. I cam as a single and was paired up with a local golfer and we enjoyed a terrific round. I will definitely be back and look forward to seeing how the new 9 looks
