Copper Canyon Golf Club - Mountain/Vista Course
About
The course at Copper Canyon Golf Club is deceptively exclusive in that although the club has prestige and a luxurious atmosphere, there are some reasonably priced tee times. The layout features an interesting mix of holes that offer panoramic views of the White Tank Mountains to the south. The large, undulating greens that are framed by generous fairways are the trademark of the course. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are also sand bunkers situated throughout. This golf course offers four sets of teeboxes. Copper Canyon Golf Club has extensive practice facilities for golfers to use as well, including a full length driving range with several target greens, a large practice putting green, and a short game area with a bunker.

Great Summer course
Great course to play in the summer. Lower rates in summer makes this course worth the drive. Tee boxes and green in great shape. Very nice design
Lakes/Vista
Greens are in great condition, still just a tad slow, but all healed from aeration.
Good conditions and fair price
Always enjoy this course. Prices are out of control expensive in fall, so we play when snowbirds leave. Only issue was I left my GPS device on cart and someone took it. I don’t think it was the staff, they always put these items in lost and found. The staff here is awesome! Great course and should try it if you haven’t.
Great course, can only afford it during off season
I love this course and would play it more if I could afford it but such is life. My one and only complaint is Lake 8 needs bunkers to stop the ball from rolling into the rocks. Even a good t shot in the center of the fairway will roll down the hill. Oh, one other thing, the bunkers were baked hard this day and a difficult shot greenside, could use some fluffing up.
All good
The only negative thing I can say is that the lake course greens were soft and Sandy because of aeration. Other than that it was a wonderful course.
Sun City Festival
Not a very long course, but bunkers and some water make it more challenging. Vista had been aerified about two weeks ago and was almost back into shape. Lakes was aerified about a week ago and the greens were max two putts. Needs about three weeks to snap back.
Very enjoyable
The only two negatives I can find is that they recently aerated and the greens on the lake course were quite soft and Sandy and the sand traps were a bit hard. Other than that the course was in great shape and fun to play.
Always seems windy
The course is a lot of fun, but it always seems windy when we are here. Not an issue, just an observation. The fairways and greens are generally top notch. The sand traps need work. The only bad thing is the pace of play. They get groups of couples who don't care how slow they go and how many holes behind they get. They play from the wrong tees and take even longer as they hit their 30 yard shots. Very frustrating to watch and wait and every hole and every shot. The Marshals will not do anything to keep pace. Love the course, hate the shuffling zombies golfers who play slow.
