The future of golf?
I couldn't help but wonder if this par-3 course isn't the future of golf, and if it should be replicated around the country.
It's fun. It's fast. It's stress-free golf (as opposed to being easy). Best of all, its clubhouse is spectacular. There are giant TVs everywhere and pockets of places to sit and enjoy the excellent food and drinks with friends. We finished our round during bocce ball league night, and it was jumping! Dare I say it had a Topgolf vibe?
This is the second par 3 course in America rated for slope/index, so that you can post your scores. The front nine is player friendly. I made a birdie and got up and down from everywhere. The back nine amps up the challenge with some semi-blind tee shots. I even hit driver (230 yards) on a hole. It's a good time.
It’s a Par 3 layout
and definitely worth playing. Kudos to the course designers.
The layout was fun and it was hard to miss a green, as they are large, undulating and fast.
There is a premium on getting the ball in the right section of the green so that it feeds to the cup for a realistic change at birdie. It was a windy day, so everything played longer/shorter from the tips. Took a cart but next time will walk. Great little course for beginners and those seeking to improve their short games.
Several signature holes with water and nice vistas.
Take a 3 wood as the back nine has 2 long holes over 230 yards, which allows the course to have a rating.
It will be interesting to play this again after all the real estate has been built out.
After golf food and service was excellent.
