Great Course
This is my home course and we play at least once a week. It’s one of the harder courses but that why we choose to play it.
Great staff, amazing views
It was amazing to play an Alister MacKenzie course with such a beautiful backdrop. Very good bang for your buck, and the final holes are breathtaking. The on-course marshall Lora even went out of her way to go look for my wedge I left a couple holes behind me. I will certainly play here again.
So much potential
This is a really beautiful course setting with the potential to be great but the fairways, rough, etc is not maintained in
any meaningful way. Just a little bit of an investment would
create a top level experience.
Staff refused to honor golf now reservations
The golf now reservation clearly stated “with cart “ and there was a cart fee on the reservation at 2:30pm.
That is why we reserved there. The staff checking us in said that the reservation did not include a cart. I showed him the reservation on my phone with the cart included information. He still said he would not include a cart. After arguing with him for 10 minutes and continuing to insist, he finally relented a gave us a cart. But he said that we had to have back by 6pm. With a 2:30 tee off that was only 3and 1/2 hours. So we played the round angered and rushed. Golf now is still offering hot deals with a cart in the afternoon at this course. Someone needs to inform the sharp park staff.
Thanks
Green Condition very bad
Too many small potholes all over the greens for most of the holes.
Course layout very dangerous, almost got hit by ball
Tunnel has no light
Some fairways not trimmed.
Fun Course for the $
If the course had a bigger maintenance budget it would be amazing
Beautiful warm day at Sharp!
Always love the layout here. Fairways and tee boxes were in pretty good shape, but don't expect much rollout! Greens had been punched a little while back and so they were quite slow and bumpy, but I imagine they'll improve in the coming weeks.
Unusually warm and had a great 4 hour round!
Failure to alert golfers of aerification
When I got to the course the guy told me that the greens had just been punched and sanded and that I was the third golf now customer that was not informed on your website even though Sharp park had notified you. So VERY disappointed that this happened. The guy suggested that I get a refund from you. I was already there so I just played. In the past golf now people over the phone have been more accommodating than I expect so big pat on the back. This mistake I can overlook and just hope it doesn’t happen again. I have very few complaints about you guys
Needs new management
Place is in shambles. Feel like the punch the greens every 2 months and they’re still awful. Poorly maintained and cleaned fairways. Bad carts and the price per cart seems to change every time I play there
Putting Greens
The putting greens need to be replaced immediately. The type of grass on the putting greens were as thick as most fairways. Absolutely unacceptable. Will not be returning. Please use some of your budget to re sod. I know I’m not the 1st person to address this issue.
Poor use of back nine starting
Started on back 8 holes, and when making the turn the starter had let groups start on hole 1. Thusly causing an interruption of pace of play . Once starting play on back 8 holes all starts should be made on back 8.
