Sort but very Challenging!
It's a beautiful course with a lot of Hills and Valleys that comes into play with your Depth Perception.
There were a lot of Jr. Players and Experienced Golfers carrying (2) Clubs and a Putter.
Fun and easy course for beginners to higher level golfers; lots of hills so fun to work on irons and chip shots. Only downside if having to share the course with disc golfers
Local Quicky
If you need a quick round and just a tune up before your next big round. Then come to Emerald. Petite course for irons only play
Hidden Gem
Blackberry Farms is a fantastic place to come and learn to play/ to advanced play. Come out and support your game improvements at the Farm.
Fun local course
A good work out pushing your cart up those Hills. Some of those holes are sneaky hard,. This is not a boring flat, course. The holes have some challenge with elevation changes either up or down and lots of places to lose your ball in high grass if you don't have the best aim . But the conditions were good this time of year . The hills are all green and beautiful.. if you're willing to play in less than ideal weather you can have the place to yourself. Staff was totally friendly and despite the windy and drizzly weather, I still had a great time.
Nice little 9 hole
Came on a wet day and the course was empty. Like I could play a dozen balls and not impede anyone so I took my time. The course is interesting. Almost all the holes are on some sort or a slope and the 6th bends to the left. This course will punish you for miss hits and honestly, you gotta club up on the elevation. The greens were kinda fast but that could have been because of the wetness. There weren’t any puddles so the drainage is pretty decent but it does get muddy on the few fairways like the 8th for sure. Overall, I’d come here again for sure. Definitely a good spot to work on your wedges and short game.
fun time
Nice course, and setting, good for learning to play the game. Great experience.
It is just for children, very busy with children, very hilly,
Excellent condition course and challenging course for the beginning or seasoned golfer
Emerald Hills Golf Course is a great course. Played it today and the course was in the best condition I have seen it in years. I love this course for its always challenging holes perfecting my short game. This is a great course for golfers of all skill levels.
Sunday Golfing
We were able to walk right up to the tee box and begin our game. Weather was great, but the course was still wet, as it was an early tee time. (8:30) Pin cups were full of water which was inconvenient, but otherwise it was a good time. Great way to work on your short game as most of the clubs required are wedges and the higher irons.
Horrible conditions. Not worth the money.
I’ve played at Emerald Hills 3 times. Each time is even worse than before. There is no driving range, only a broken hitting net. The pro shop is in a mobile home. The practice green is the size of a couch. The tee boxes and mangled. The fairways are made of clay. There are broken trees scattered through out the course. The greens are bumpy.
Not worth it here if you paid me.
Solid Improvements.
Emerald’s greens are improving. Tee boxes are a little tattered however that’s almost every short courses dilemma. Putting greens are in excellent shape. And that is what truthfully matters more.
Bring your irons only and before play practice chipping, chunking, and putting.
After you finish. Consider another round or switch to disc golf.
