Deceivingly Difficult Course
Deceivingly Difficult Course.
Not well maintained, most of the areas are dirt and balls easily roll down hill if you don't land on the green.
Hidden Gem in the peninsula
Great place to play year round.
Look to play here more as other local 9 holes fill up fast
Fun and easy outing
I really enjoyed my round here. It was super easy to get a tee time. The check in staff member was professional and super friendly. The course is all par 3, so fun and smooth. Don't be fooled though, the targets are challenging even for an experienced golfer. The greens were in very nice shape. I had a great time with my son.
Par 3 course in the burbs.
The piece of land that Emerald Hills is on is nice. The course is in poor condition and greens are not good. I guess it is good for beginners to hit some golf shots.
FYI: The picture listed is not Emerald Hills. Not even close to it. Lol. That is mainly why I wrote this review.
Merciless
Your short iron work better be tight as your abilities will be seriously tested. If you don’t land on the pad, your ball is GONE for good. There are no opportunities to scramble.
Golf is about overcoming obstacles and the tightness of this short course along with the surprising transitions will challenge your ability to make finesse shots and test your course-management skills.
A really fun little track.
Would not recommend
The greens were extremely sandy and looked like the roughs in other courses, not enjoyable had to absolutely pound the ball to get it to go 10 ft., the fairways were basically dirt walkways, there’s constant changes in elevation which puts you more into a hike than a round of golf to be honest. I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt maybe it’s seen better days in warmer months but as of now it’s not ideal to play. Sorry but there are much better 9 hole courses for less of a charge in the area.
Beautiful day
Sunny, course was dry, pace of play was kinda slow but no issues at all. The course is very green from the last time we played there. Great day for golf.
Great, challenging 9 hole par 3
For a 9 hole par 3 course, this one is very challenging. Sloping fairways and hills surrounding tiny greens make it a good challenge to play your shots wisely. We played in January, so the grass conditions were not ideal, mostly hard pan, dirt or short weeds in the fairways, but still, a fun round. We would play here again.
Yuck
Okay. 9-hole but for such a remote course much more time might have been devoted to the basic course maintenance.
However, I was not shocked just disappointed
Not worth the money
Barely any grass, too much dirt, not a fun course to play. For the cost, better places to play a nine hole. Would not recommend.
Ok for a par 3
Poor course condition. Fun hills, quite an uphill walk though. Little expensive for the course condition.
Short course but too hilky
The course has a lot of dead grass, making play and walking up and down the hills more challenging than necessary. Fast playing though if you want a quick game or are a beginner.
Short Executive...Meh Condition
This is an overall really short course. There are a couple of 170 yardish holes and a lot of 100-110. Tee boxes were not great and greens were ok and dandy. I had a good time with my 10 year old, who has only played a few times. It was good for him.
