The course was enjoyable. The only issue is with the tee boxes. It's like there is a concrete pad under the tee box. You can't put your tee more than a half an inch down.
Nice new course
This is a very nice new course. There are very few homes built so far, so it is excellent, reminds me of Sarasota National in the early days. The fairways are wide, tight lies because it is new (hard). The greens were in great shape is you can handle speed. The staff are very friendly and abide by all COVID protocols, tip accordingly!
Nice New Course
The course was in very good condition for being open just 2 months. Grass was thick and greens putted very well. One issue was the hardness of the ground under the tees. You could hardly pound your tee in on many of them and we broke several tees off trying. Be prepared for a desert feel in Florida with lots of empty construction lots all around and very few trees. Ponds were also only half full since it is the end of the dry season. Just a trailer for a pro shop and no water available on the course. We will probably be back when the area is more built up if they don't raise the rates too much.
fairways were generous
greens were good but a little hard
layout was enjoyable
overall great value
I have played this course several times and every time I played it has been the same. The staff is very friendly and the guys working the carts/bag drop are very conscientious about having the carts Sanitized and ready to go.Course layout is excellent and The beautiful wide fairways make for a very enjoyable round of golf. I highly recommend this course to anyone ready to play.
Very new course. People working there were great. Course was in very good condition with an interesting layout. Lots of off course construction for homes and landscaping this new development. Trees are still small so course is wide open and looks “bare”. Good experience!
Very new course
This is a very new course only open for a few months. conditions were excellent however , And once it matures a little bit more and they put the finishing touches on the course it will be one of the best in all of Southwest Florida..: I played today with three strangers of varying abilities, all of them were fun to play with, but the conditions were very windy end it was amazing how much it dictated the flight of the ball. The greens were full and fast and did not hold a good pitch shot, so adjustments have to be made all day long. . I did not play well because the flight in my arm hour wind made it almost impossible,, but I still enjoyed the camaraderie of the strangers that I played with. They were super seniors like myself who made the best of the course conditions.
Golf course good other than the golf holes were block so you just hit the side of the cup which blocks the hole.
The golf course is perfect. From tee to green everything is in perfect condition.
Awesome Course ... But
This was the First time playing the course. The course is AWESOME. The fairways were manicured to perfection and very wide. The Tee Boxes were great and well placed. The greens were perfect ... very little undulations and pretty flat, easy to read. The entire course was maintained to perfection and there were no tricky holes ... Except for #3 a par 3 with a semi hidden green. The ONLY PROBLEM was that the GPS in the carts WERE NOT WORKING and they have NOT had the course mapped for other GPS products ... So you had no way of knowing the distance to the pin. They don't even have any Yardage Markers in the Fairways or markings on Sprinkler Heads. So you never knew the Distance to the Green
Other than that when they get those problems fixed we will be back
It would certainly be helpful if the Score Card was posted on line so that you could get an idea about how the Holes are laid out and also the yardage. Is that to much to ask ?
do you not know that with a brand new course there will be growing pains? The course is a true test of golf and will only get better when matured. I am a 10 handicap and thought this was a very good test. I used most of the clubs in my bag and that's saying something for most courses.
NEW COURSE VERY NICE
This was my second time playing there. The course has only been open a couple of months and is in very good shape. It's pretty wide open as the trees have just been planted and the area is being developed into new homes. 'There's lots of water and some fairways are narrow and feed toward the water. The greens are in great shape and fairly fast, but the ball rolls true. If you play there bring a hammer because the tee boxes are very hard and almost impossible to get your tee in the ground. It's definitely worth playing.
