Diamond Oaks
My first time playing at Diamond Oaks. The course was fun and in pretty good shape. I played Lincoln Hills the previous day, where I paid about the same price through Golf Now. So, I was not as impressed with Diamond Oaks. But, overall not a bad value and I might be back. I would not go out of my way to recommend the course to friends just yet.
Open fairways
Generous fairways with few water hazard
muni coourse meh
69 per man, no water on course, hot weather no working bathrooms on back 9.
Came for twilight the guy who answered the phone initially was horribly rude and when we got there we were treated to more of the same. Angry over having to do his job, he slowly checked us in and made mistake instead of charging me for 2 boxes of balls he charged me for 4. We were in the 17th hole at 8 o'clock about to finish the round when he came out and told us we needed to finish the hole and return the carts. When we drove back towards the clubhouse they had locked the gate and we were forced to park the carts and carry all of our stuff back to the car. Thanks for an awful experience for an almost $50 twilight round. Definitely won't be back!
Great course but needs some attention.
This course has been a favorite of mine for some time, but it seems to have slipped in it’s condition. The driving range was only partially available and the course itself was in average condition. My biggest qualm is the value for the money.
Bumpy greens
Course was in great shape except for greens. They need to be rolled. Ball bounced its way toward cup. Besides that and my crappy score had a great day. Cart girls and water on course where a welcome sight. Very reasonable prices at bar
Greens slow and bumpy
Over watered.
False fronts super wet spots takes away purpose.
A City of this size and it's two golf facilities Diamond Oaks. and Woodcreek with decent designs should not be maintained so poorly.
Hopefully the golf courses are an Independent enterprise fund and separate from parks recreation.
Golf Courses are not easy to keep well maintained
and in the black. Water Service, sewer, garbage and parks and electric are a challenge but the city does well to manage these services efficiently.
Something needs to be done differently with these facilities. Their level of maintanance at these facilities
Is an embarrassment for a City that generally is top shelf
Sunday Round Was Awsome
Time of day must have been perfect at 1:56 Start. Did not have to wait at all between tees. Course was a little on the dryer side considering all the rain we got in the Sacramento Valley this year. Not sure what that was about. But all in all good day of golf.
I don’t know how it’s so dry after the winter we had
Difficult to find
My GPS could not find the GC. I had to call the GC and ask for directions. The fairways were dry and the sand traps were dirt and not sand .
Course needs work
Lots of downed trees, dry patches, aerated greens, dirt in sand traps, bathroom not working (locked), missing yardage markers. Worker returning cleaned carts almost ran into me as I returned my cart, he was flying driving cart very unsafe. I don’t think he realized I was even in his path, oblivious.
