Well groomed fair greens
Slightly overpriced ..Well maintained good greens and tee boxes. Overall very pleasant experience. I will play here again
Timber Creek among best in Sacramento Area
Timber Creek is an excellent track that’s always in great shape. It’s among the best maintained in the area. The course is moderately difficult and the track is very interesting. The front nine is mostly open with some water in play and the back nine is mostly among trees. Greens are fast and roll true but hard to hold your approach shots. Excellent practice facilities although they are redoing the chipping area and putting greens - will be closed for another few weeks. They are also just finishing upgrading the driving range and it will be open by this Friday. Staff is friendly and pace of play is typically pretty good.
This course is always a favorite
Great course, almost always in great condition, very good layout and a little challenging on some holes but overall not very hard. Staff always friendly.
best partner in a long time
best round this year and got to fix my drive by my partner. had a great time.
Challenging layout, good value, and a party
Played Monday for low $40.
Challenges include forced carries, an “island” green, deep fairway bunkers. Walked long distances between some holes.
The clubhouse had live music with a friendly crowd. On a Monday?!? These folks know how to party!
Overall, highly recommend.
Timber Creek
The course was in great condition. The weather was perfect. 78 degrees with blue skies. The three other guys I played with were great guys.
Great course.
Great course. Very playable and in great condition..The only downside was that the practice area is currently under repair.
No Practice Facility
I wouldn't have booked to play if I had known there is currently no place to practice.
Good Course
Well maintained course in retirement community. Always fun to play this course.
Needs help
This by far is the worst I’ve seen this course ever. The greens are beat up and balls marks that haven’t been repaired ever and some that need to be repaired. I repaired at least five ball marks on every green. Completely ridiculous.!!!! All of the bunkers I looked at had rocks in them that could damage your wedges. I was in two yesterday and had to pull out because of the size of the rocks. I paid $150 for each of my wedges and am not going to ruin them. The cost was definitely over priced for the condition of the course and the driving range was beat down. The mats are falling apart so we were hitting off of the grass which looks like it has been a few days that the position hasn’t changed on the driving range. Hopefully they will make the corrections before spring and the peak of golf season?
Timber Creek is always great
Started golfing here a couple years ago -;they maintain this course better than most in the Sacramento area. The first 9 is mostly open with some water in play while the back 9 is a bit longer with more trees and tighter fairways. Moderately tough course and is very fair.
Timber Creek Course Review
Everytime I play there I think why we have not moved to Sun City Roseville. The people, course and service are very good. The golf course is maintained to a high standard and golfers like myself really appreciate the attention to detail and service.
Awesome Course
What I love about this course is its consistency in always being in great condition. Its a tribute to the entire staff and its maintenance staff.
