Members are a pain in the butt
It seams like every time me and my friends play. The members complain about us . I understand that we may be a little slow but that’s because most of us are first year golfers . I guess we will have to take our money somewhere else.
cold day
Cold wet day, but the pace was excellent.
Winter conditions.
As I said
We played here 4 months ago and I reviewed how fairways were mostly crab grass and when winter hit that crab grass would die and you would be playing on dirt and a little dormant grass here and there. A friend had a deal for two here so I joined him..Sorry I was right, it is very sad they supposedly have a good greens keeper that has no knowledge of fairway grass unless he is keeping it in a shed somewhere off the course. I guess you could call this course a good place to play if you want to practice hitting off amazingly poor lies. Not worth the price of admission.
Dire need of TLC
I’ve played this course a few times prior and never put a review because it was in pretty good shape. Until now…Today I rushed for this round to end as fast possible. Thankfully the course is essentially empty. The fairways need Jesus Christ especially around the greens. Weeds, dirt, and shriveled dead grass is your fairway. The course has small patches here and there that are playable but, you do need to land on it or clean and place even though you may add 10 yards. For the price currently this course is not worth the money from prior experiences here. I would not recommend this course to anyone. Hopefully the hire a new greenskeeper that can revive the course.
Historic course trying to find its roots
Course and facilities in dire need of renovation! But, as it's about the only game in town, it is either pay or sell your clubs.
Fairways still need work
I keep playing this course because I like the layout and because I can usually get a tee time day of but, the fairways continue to be in poor shape. There are bare spots everywhere. They also need a marshall because there are some unreasonably slow players on this course.
Virtually no grass on fairways
I’ve never seen such terrible fairways and I’ve been playing golf for 50 years. Such a shame for an otherwise beautiful course. The greens are in excellent shape with challenging undulations and pin placements. Layout is very nice
Both my brother’s Bushnell golf watch and my Garmin were useless on the back nine as the “holes were changed” according to a staff member. Since I didn’t know when I can’t totally lay blame however whoever determines distances needs to be notified
Good Times!
I was nervous on that first hole because of the adjacent homes. After that it was clear sailing!
First time was terrific!
Starter was courteous and helpful. Carts were new, clean and quick!
Even had service on the course this hot day!
One of the best
For my taste this was one of the best golf courses I’ve ever played it’s not fancy the facilities are not posh, but they are clean and adequate and the staff is super friendly. The course is well kept. One of the best days golfing we’ve had will definitely return is quite a drive, but we will return.
First time with my son, at a golf course
It went by pretty quick. Course was in good shape. Only thing that could’ve been better is the sand traps muddy.
