great design
scenic old course -great layout-not alot of grass on fairways-greens not very good
good view
Course condition is ok. But the rental fee for a pull cart was unbelievably high as $20, too much.
Could be a real gem
I don’t know why, but this course is a bit of a dog track. The fairways are meh and the greens are not good. The place is just terribly maintained! Cleary with some professional effort it could be a nice city course, just look at the nearby public access courses. The city should get the Harding team over there for a few months. It’s got great views so it’s a bit sad the course isn’t the same.
Challenging course; yet very playable
I play this course about once a month; i do enjoy it. It's challenging because of all the elevation changes and large trees along the course. I admit losing a golf ball here and there. But the views on the City and Golden Gate Bridge make up for it.
The condition of the greens and course have improved the past year, you have to adjust your play for the changing conditions and you are fine. Since rarely or never a cart is available be prepared to walk and/or carry your golf bag. in that case it's a great excercise. Play early in the morning and the play is very quick. Play the afternoon and it will take four hours +.
Beautiful course
Overall a nice course with a good layout. There is a lot of walking up and down the hills of San Francisco though. For the price, this course is challenging but open as well. Some nice par 4’s that are driveable. Fun course to play!
Need better golf carts and some work done on the course it self . But always have a good time when I play here
Green was aerated
Without knowing it, we went on booked play on March 20th and surprised! There were a few temporary greens where original greens were fully covered by sands.
Hope there should be warning or something to alarm us before we book a tee time.
