Priced right
The day was beautiful.
The course was wet, cart path only for all 18.
I will play here again, because I love golf, but not after a rain day. The course does not drain well and all the bunkers were water logged.
Greens were in good shape, some people did not repair divots.
Golfnow prices make it worthwhile to go play and work on your game
Yikes
In almost 20 years of playing this course, this is the worst I've ever seen it. Not sure if it was the harsh winter, vandalism, or neglect, but the greens are significantly blighted and fairways & tee boxes are sparse and weedy. Some of the teeing areas were placed where there was no grass at all.
We like to support our local muni, so we are hoping that things improve dramatically throughout the Spring.
Course conditions were poor but most appeared to be winter damage. Greens were especially poor condition
Have played here several times but always in March which may be the reason it was in poor condition
Perhaps it’s in better condition during summer months. .
Restaurant wasn’t open. No chance to take advantage of 19th hole.
Nice course, needs a lot of love....
This course has a lot of promise, it just needs a lot of love from the staff. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens all need some serious love. Some of the greens are 3/4 burnt, fairways cut to the point of being hardpan, Very wet, low lying fairways as well. Has promise, just needs time and love.
STAY AWAY
Do not waste your time or money coming here.
The greens are horrible with the exception of maybe two and I’m stretching it there. Dead spots and dirt completely surround each green with about 5-10 ft of actually grass that has weeds all over it in the middle around the hole. This course is known to be wet but it is ridiculously wet several days after rain. They should take the money they are investing in there new bar/lounge and put into the greens, tee boxes and drainage issues. GPS on the carts suck! Pace of play is horrid. Have groups of 5,6 and 7 playing without letting solo or doubles play through. I could go on and on. I will never be back and will never recommend to anyone!
Lost Plantation
Some greens had quite a bit of sand now. Greens will be better as spring comes in. Course holds water and was boggy in many areas. Overall I like the course.
nice day
course was a little wet. play was cart paths only. still had a good day.
Going down hill
Haven’t played this course since November. I’m not sure what happened but they should be putting money into the course instead of getting new carts. The greens are in terrible condition. Hold 2 is basically a sand pit for the green. It’s a nice course in the summer but right now not worth playing.
Ehhh
I play this course a lot mainly because it’s right here in town. The greens are in desperate need of repairs. The staff tend to not be very friendly and well sometimes grumpy.
The course has a good layout and it is challenging at times. Just needs some love and repairs.
Great Value for the Money
From Las Vegas and visit the area four or five times a year. Rincon Golf Course is on my Bucket List each time. The new carts with GPS is a great addition. Hats off to staff and management. Staff goes out their way to accommodate players. Mr Gobble in the barn is awesome. I forgot my clubs on the cart and returned two hours later. Clubs were cleaned and waiting for me to pick-up.
Never Again
Greens were not in good shape. Started raining before completing front nine. Stopped at pro shop to ask about raincheck policy and the Manager was very rude. Will never play here again and will tell all my golf friends. New Management customer skills sucks!
Some Poor Greens and Traps
It has been a year since we last played this course. It is a course we have enjoyed and find challenging, but now the front nine has several holes with damaged greens, and traps that need sand. We were surprised by the poor playing conditions when compared to last year.
While the staff is attentive and managed pace of play very well, by suggesting to a group ahead of us to let us play through, the course conditions were disappointing, particularly on the first 6 holes. We do not plan to play here again until the course condition improves.
Decent course
Fairways were good. Greens were terrible.
For the price it was a good deal.
Slow play.
