Unaware
Unknowingly the course was just aerated until I checked in. There was NO notification when I purchased on golf now.
I would have not travel to the course even if the round was “FREE” knowing in that conditions.
Theres nothing more disappointing to travel and ruined your day/rounds and get surprised by bad greens!!
Punched Greens
Greens were punched but we knew that when we booked. The bunkers are pretty rough and we dug several large rocks out of one bunker, some were almost unplayable.
Blue Rock East September 2023
Front nine pace of play was excellent, then it slowed. Fairways have several brown spots. Greens were aerated, but sanded well. Sand traps were very wet.
Aeration Alert
Course is always a great time, cost is low on East Course due to aeration from Sep 19/20 so be aware of that! Other than that, played here multiple times, both courses are a great challenge in themselves. Highly recommend!
Great course for the price.
3rd time going and every time it gets better and better. The price is perfect for the course. The pace was great as a beginner you get nervous about keeping pace and the people behind you. My over all experience is good.
Great facility
I recommend it to anyone looking for a course in great condition, great price and location for anyone in the Bay Area. If you have an early tee time, check in early, they’re short staffed and only have one person checking folks in which can take time off practice and warmup.
Had fun with my friends
I love to play this course. The weather was nice. All my buddies were happy to play this course. Everybody hoped to play again with a
better deal for our seniors.
Decent option for north bay
I've played here a number of times, and overall wouldn't count it as one of my top courses. The conditions are usually the problem here but this time I felt the fairways were nicely kept and the greens were in solidly playable shape. I will say the greens were semi inconsistent with a number of them playing noticeably slower than others, despite severe slope. As long as they keep conditions the way they are now, I would consider coming back. Get a hot deal and it's good value for your money.
