Marshallia Ranch Golf Course

It was very windy making the tough holes tougher. As with all California courses watering has become a problem. The fairways right off the tees were not watered (to save water), but your not supposed to hit it there anyway. The greens had recently been aerated, but were excellent (rolling smooth) even so. I would definitely play here again.

We enjoy this course. Can be challenging given the par 3s are long ranging about 185 yards uphill with traps as guardians, otherwise a nice place to play.

Mature treelined fairways fast challenging greens with lots of wild life . Beautiful Vistas and might even see a rocket launch while your there. One thing they need help on is the carts are in well used condition ie, seats in bad shape. They run good though..

This is my favorite course for the money.
They have a very nice practice facility.
Undiscovered gem.

This was a nice course. Very peaceful as another reviewer said. The holes themselves were ok. No particularly memorable hole. The greens were in very good condition. The fairways could use some water, but with the deals on golfnow, it's hard to complain about the conditions.

It's a little too far away from Santa Barbara to make it part of the golf routine, but it's worth a visit if you're looking for something different and calm.

It all comes together at Marshalia Ranch in Lompoc. Beautiful layout, gorgeous views, excellent playing conditions, friendly staff and all at a resonable price.

Older course, kept in good condition. Can be very windy. Greens are tricky, enjoy the challenge.

Greens were good. Fairways were ok ( not a disappointment ). This course is by far the best value you will find . There are no homes in sight with huge eucalyptus trees lining the fairways with a their strong fragrance, Deer everywhere. This course does not get much play and you could tell the staff was happy to see us , I felt I was visiting in the country. I will be back often.

Excellent variety of holes with very good greens. Would recommend course to any golfer.

Like this course a lot. it a good Challenge for a beginner.

The greens were in great shape, undulating and nothing would go in the cup for my hubby or me.
The fairways are in ok shape, many bare spots and roughs are to be avoided...many large trees line the fairways to trap your ball and send it flying!
We rode but looked walkable but a bit long for that unless you're in good shape.
Peaceful course out in nature, deer grazing, etc.
I would recommend it. Got a great mid day price.

This is a fun and challenging layout. It's always very relaxed and quiet.

Rural feel with no houses around. Ocean view on one hole on back. Feel good course!

When we were 1st hole, I thoght I got a mistake play this course. First hole not any special and two group ahead of us was too slow ( some player look like beginner). But marshall made us pass them. After hole by hole made us fall in love this course. Beautiful design and good maintain course ( good condition green and fairway) , lot a tree lines on fairways , no houses , no same kinds of hole, very friendly staff. It is Gem. I want go back again even if 180 miles away from home.

The course overall was in decent shape. The fairways were a little patchy. The greens were in great condition. I love playing this course when I'm in the area.

I think it is one of the tougher courses in the area. Errant shots really cost you here as there no hazards and unplayable lies are common if you miss the fairways. The greens are in xllnt shape.

This is a pretty tough course - greens have varying speeds - great views/deer - price is well worth the drive.
