Course always places great and staff is always friendly fair ways not the best right know but California never rains
Fun
This course is not all that difficult and is quite short. That’s what makes it perfect for me, not being all that accomplished. A perfect course for those just trying to figure out their game without getting too frustrated.
Great course for beginners
The layout is friendly to beginners learning to drive and putt. I have been paired with great people of all skill levels who have been patient and helpful. Stress-free golf for learning.
Greens need some attention. Greens are dried out and slow.
Never playing here again
Booked a hot deal for 2 at 11:45, tee off was delayed till 12, 2 groups of 2 cut ahead of us, a group of old men and a group of 85 year old ladies with a dog off leash. Signed up to play 18, played 5 holes in 2 hours. Never again, money back!!!
Nice course to work on your game
Course is well-maintained and has its challenges. It's not long but many obstacles with trees and sand traps and curvy greens. Iron approach shots and putting are emphasized. Many par threes and water hazards add to the challenge. Fun course to play.
Fun Course!
I like this course and always forget how fun it is. Couldn't get over water at all this time but I still had fun. Birdied #15 the par 5, so I will go back!
Always good
One of my favorites, we usually play after 11pm for 42.00 with cart. Great value, the course is always in good shape and the staff from the pro shop, the bartender and of course the cart girl are super nice people!

Brief review as this was a last minute choice due to severe Santa Ana conditions.
Everything was in good shape except the greens which were recently worked.
Still fun and a definitely more challenging with the very very strong winds.
Excellent Local Public Course
The course is in good condition and we finished our round in 3 1/2 hours.
Great day, great golf.
Staff unfriendly, beautiful course.
Golf outing before a wedding for 6. It was a Thursday, not busy at all and the tee time was 6:30 and 6:37 am. We booked via Golf Now, not the course. The staff told us there is no way we are 6:30 because there is a group that goes 6:30 everyday. I showed him the receipt and he said "okay, you still will have to wait". We had to rent clubs because we are from out of town. They didn't have pre-made bags of clubs to rent and grabbed 6 random bags and put a random type of each club in each bag. I had some graphite woods, some metal irons. It was weird. The course was great. I still shot better than average because the grass was so spongy and easy to hit off of. Pace of play was an issue because we followed the senior crowd at 6:30. We were warned that we couldn't play 6 to a hole even though we were scrambling on hole 18... not hole 5 or 12, but 18. We had been directly behind the older group the whole time. I would play here again as it was beautiful and well maintained.
A wonderful day at Westlake Golf Course
My first time playing the course since they trimmed the tress, redid the greens and put in the desert sections. A little shorter than before but it played well, will be back soon.
I would suggest they offer cart service, drinks etc on the course on holidays and maybe twilight during the week and all day weekend. I would think they would cover their investment.
I would also suggest doing BBQ weekends, the place is beautiful and it would make a difference.
Great course in great condition!
Was really pleased with the opportunity to play this course – far surpassed my expectations in terms of course quality and condition. Was particularly impressed with the condition of the course given the amount of traffic it has, and the greens were a great challenge too!
Nice course
It has a bit of challenge , not too much though . You can walk it if you like or use cart. $10 for a large bucket of range balls and a nice range to practice. Overall worth checking out
