great par 3 for kids
easy course. fairly flat, good for short game practice. Should be listed as such on GolfNow
Fun little Par 3
First time to play this course and played with my wife, who is a beginner. Tee boxes could have used a mowing, and greens were a little slower than I'm used to, but all in all a fun round.
Fun course
Very friendly staff greeted us. Easy to walk. Fun little course. Wasn't busy at all so we were able to take our time and never had to wait for others.
Short but No Gimmees
A pleasant park with nine par 3s to hone your short game. Don't expect to coast to a scratch round. The fairways are narrow and the greens can be a challenge to read. Some well-placed bunkers add to the challenge, especially when I played because the sand was hard packed.
Looks easy, but . . .
Yes, it is short. No, it is not easy. The greens here have recently improved dramatically; rolling true and at good pace. The course design is intriguing: short, but with undulating greens which will challenge you. The tee boxes could use some love: they are completely chewed up by heavy play. This is a beautiful course which must be walked (no cart option, which I love) and savored. Only one hole (the 7th) requires more than a 7 iron. Parents bring their kids here to learn, and it's perfect for that. Nice people, sweet short course.
Nice Tuneup course
Walked 9 holes in under an hour. I used my PW, AW, 48 and 60 wedges almost exclusively. There is a nice 204 yd hold that was a stretch for my 4I. Great place to work out any kinks in the swing. Would also be an ideal place for a beginner to get the feel for the game.
Good for a quick round
I am still learning the game and Greenway is a fairly easy, short course that can be walked in an hour or so for 9 holes. There are a few obstacles such as water, but nothing very difficult to overcome. You won't get out your driver as the longest hole is only 204 yards, but it's a great way to work on your short game and get done quickly if you're limited on time.
