Not in good shape
My first time playing here. I purchased a coupon for the course. Fairways were ragged and spotty. 2 or 3 greens had winter kill and were almost unputtable. Sand traps had pea gravel (scratched up clubs), and weeds. I was quite disappointed in the course. It was ok for $25, but I would not pay more. Sorry.......but I want you to know before you show up.
Lots of options on this course
Springs Ranch has 5 different tee boxes on each hole so you can select any yardage you wish to play. The sand tees seem appropriate for most golfers (the middle of the 5 boxes). The course is in great shape and the greens are running fast. Best of all, tee times are quite readily available. Those who have difficulty at the city courses getting tee times need to give Springs Ranch a try.
course still recovering
I love this course as it has a good variety of holes and plenty of challenges. Right now the greens are very rough and bumpy and the fairways and rough are still recovering from winter. Still a fun course to play.
