Course has some nice views. Greens were in good condition but fairways need work, as do the bunkers. Staff was friendly. Called a country club but played like a public club.

Views are awesome.
This course is pretty challenging with hills and elevation changes. Didn't seem like a long course but some of the doglegs are tricky so you'll need to know your yardage for some layups. Par 3's are really nice with most over water. The only con was a couple of par 4's with a tree in the middle of the fairway, right where your perfect drive down the middle can hit it. Overall, interesting course with camera taking holes.
Tough lies, greens could use some care, pace of play or on course marshall would hlep
Compared to Ocean course this course is more challenging, not as scenic but still had many great views. Due to lower cost than Ocean course it was getting more play and needed to have a player assistant to get the pace of play going.
Got a big discount through Golfnow. Even with discount, questionable whether it was worth it.
Staff friendly and helpful. But course not good. Cart path are minimal; fairways worse than a double black diamond mogul run. Fairways and greens grasses at acceptable level but just not a quality course. Goats grazing up in the lava. Comparison appropriate.
Terrible service
This course is very tight and if you don't hit the fairway your ball is lost in the volcanic rock. The service was non-existent. i would not recommend this course.
Where is the staff????
Though this was a nice course, the staff was nowhere to be found. I had to get my own cart, put my cart away, etc. I never saw a staff person other than the guy at the counter who took my money.
