Southglenn Country Club
The golf course at the Southglenn Country Club is a short, par-3 course in Littleton. The private, nine-hole course is 1,387 yards from its longest tees and provides a perfect golf outing for beginners. There are no water hazards but there are sand bunkers. More advanced golfers may find this course too easy, but it is great for those wanting to work on their short game. The course does not have power carts but it is easily walkable so it is not a problem. Southglenn Country Club is perfect for families since there are many extra facilities on the premises that would appeal to younger crowd such as a heated pool and clubhouse.
Fun little course but they don't have carts
I tried this course on a Hot Deal and enjoyed it very much. Although it's a country club, it is available to the public through Golfnow. But beware, even though the deal says that it includes a cart, it doesn't. The course doesn't even have electric carts. They were very surprised when I told them that my deal included a cart. The course was in acceptable shape although they are taking out some trees and the branches were still there. The greens were firm and challenging. Two holes are over 200 yards.
Good practice course
Great course to practice your irons, Long par 3’s. Well maintained, friendly staff.0@9
Nice little course.
We had an extreemly slow group with little kids ahead of us.
Best deal and best kept secret in in town.
:Plenty of challenge to go around for the beginner to the advanced golfer.
Excellent Par 3
Excellent par 3. Lots of various hole lengths, which gives you the opportunity to use the majority of your clubs, unlike most shorter par 3 courses. Not quirk, very straightforward, with up and downslope holes. Great course for practicing your fundamentals. And the staff is absolutely delightful.
Truly a joke of a golf course
I paid $5 to play Southglenn CC and it wasn’t even worth the money. Tee boxes cut as long as rough with no markers, holes filled with water, and employees standing in the fairway with headphones in oblivious to players are just some of the things you can expect.
Great Par 3
If you want to just swing the clubs & get in a quick 9, this is the place for you. Some holes are sneaky long for a par 3 course. Definitely recommend.
This is a nice course with some longer par 3’s. Good bunker placements an just enough trees. If I lived closer I would definitely become a member. Give it a shot. It takes about an hour or so.
Great little practice course. We were the only 2 ladies on the course. Small par 3, 9 hole course that was really fun without a crowd. Played in the morning for 5$ each and headed out for lunch. Fun morning. Couldn't beat the price.
Best little course that you have not yet played in Denver
Full disclosure, I used to be a member here and may yet again but for now, come enjoy this great little 9 hole course that has more than enough to challenge and 1-2 hole, you may even get your driver out. It is maintained by the same minds that used to handle 2 other TPC courses before, great shape, very quiet in the the middle of the weekend even and just a fun escape. When you compare it to the crowded, crazy South Sub Par 3 nearby, no way I would ever go anywhere else now when I want a quick and fun round or some practice time and cheaper than a boring bucket
very nice par 3 course
some good longer par 3 holes, two are over 200 yards.
plays longer as 4 holes are pretty uphill
smallest greens are in good shape, putt true, but are hard, they don't really hold approach shots well.
plays fast, uncrowded
enjoyable, will play there again
Hidden Gem, Pitch and Putt
Southglenn is technically a private par 3 course nestled in an established community. For 8 years I have overlooked this course in favor for a par 3 closer to my house. For the price, pace of play, ease of play and ability to work on your short game, I will be making Southglenn a regular short game/pitch and putt practice course this year. 40 minutes to scoot around the 9 holes is blazing fast and makes it able to play during lunch.. 2 holes (# 3, #4) have good distance for a par 3's both reaching over 200 yards tee to green. But the real selling point for me is the time to play it and the greens are amazing right now. They didn't aerate the greens to the are roll great and fairly fast. If the greens are in this shape all year than the value cant be beat to work on putting. The golfnow value to play during lunch means I can play during my lunch hour cheaper than a typical meal would cost me. Pleasantly surprised and Im already slated to play here again. Oh and one final note. Real sand in the traps. A luxury in Colorado.
Great Course for a Quick 9 After Work
Southglenn is a par 3 course without much on course danger to speak of. It's not especially challenging, but does offer rapid pace of play on weekday afternoons. I can typically get 9 in there in 45 minutes to an hour. It's well maintained, and very inexpensive. If you're learning to golf, or just want to play fast after work I would recommend southglenn.
Great course to work on your short game
This is a great course for working on your short game. there are only 9 holes, all par 3s. The longest is 212yds. There is no water, but enough sand and trees to keep it interesting. The office help are very friendly and helpful.
