About
Formerly a cornfield, Robert Trent Jones Jr. utilized the natural area and the import of over 600,000 cubic yards of dirt to create the challenging Ute Creek Golf Course. The championship course has a traditional links-style layout that is said to challenge even the most avid of golfers. The public, 18-hole golf course offers 7,167 yards from its longest tees, playing to a par of 72. It features several water hazards, especially on the back nine holes, with five lakes situated on the course and two streams that wind through it. Ute Creek Golf Course's well-bunkered greens and undulating, multi-level fairways provide more interesting elements to the game.

Nice course.
Other than the slow pace of play, the course and staff were great. Will gladly play again and refer others.
Good value on well designed course
New carts! Greens were in good shape. Staff was exceptional as always!! Thanks for a fun day
Great course
Great course with challenging moments. Seems the cart persons not reliable most time I play here we are lucky to see it. The course rangers fun he will ask you to pickup the pace when there's no one behind ya.
Beautiful and very professional
This is an excellent course. The greens were great. The course layout was great. Five different tee boxes so everyone could enjoy. Very challenging from the blues on back. The scenery of the Rocky Mountains added to the great appeal of this course.
Sanded greens
They sanded the greens on Tuesday. Made putting very inconsistent and challenging. Maybe wait a week. Everything else was very good.
Greens need to be faster
The entire course was almost “soggy”; is it necessary to keep it soaked in the heat?

very friendly place to play
We made reservations for a Friday, but when we got to the course we realized we had made a mistake on golfnow and had actually booked a Monday!! The staff was super understanding and squeezed us in. The course is challenging and the greens rolled like a private club. The staff is super friendly and helped make our day fantastic. We will play their again.

On course amenities
Every tee box or at least every other tee box should have a ball washer. There should be water coolers in the middle of the front 9 and back 9 holes. I could not read most of the yardage markers in various spots in the fairways.

Only One Problem
Do NOT play when they have high schoolers going. the 3 of us were delayed 35 minutes to start waiting on the high schoolers in front of us. then they kept hitting multiple balls on each hole and even though they only played 9 holes from what we saw if they kept actual real scores NONE of them shot less than 100 for 9 holes. Ridiculous, Took almost 3 hours to play 9. Then they left and we did the last 9 in under 2 hours. Everything else was great but if high schoolers get priority we will never be back. Rude High School Coaches and Pace of Play affected my score here.

Great layout. Trent Jones knows how to build em.
Some damage on 3 green and some spots that need repair elsewhere. They did suffer a harsh a winter and some hard heat. With new staff it will bounce back just fine. A must play course on the front range.

Beautiful Course
It was my first time playing here and only 2nd playing in Colorado. The course was in great shape and the views were amazing. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to play mountain golf with a view.
