Fun layout
Fun layout and very challenging. Course was in good shape, but could have been better. I would definitely go play again
Great Value
Played an afternoon round available to the public. Great staff, great course, amazing views. Will be back!
great course
Love the trees not much wind a lot of doglegs one of my favorite course
poor condition
We did not like the design. too many blind shots. need a lot of local knowledge to play well.
Greens were in poor condition. not tee box signage and no offer by pro shop to pick up a map/yardage book. Pro shop seemed very disinterested.
Beautiful Course
Very enjoyable course out in the pines. Course is unforgiving with a lot of dogleg holes and thick cabbage. Course in great condition
Woodmoor Country Club
The course lay out is challenging with many narrow fairways and large pine trees that line each fairway. Many of the greens were elevated with a variety of slope and tiers which created an additional challenge.
I enjoyed the lay out but suggest to a bogey golfer like myself to expect several added strokes playing this country club.
I would play it again and not get as aggressive on several of the holes., Good Vauke for the price...
good course, beautiful scenery, wildlife .unfortunately this course has the worst Cart Path's of any course my group plays.I am sure it will be expensive but they need to improve the path's plus it is damaging to the carts.
Tight
This course is tight but it’s also real tight. Hope you can play a draw. Greens are rollercoasters. Very fun
Well worth it, fun in the trees
It’s not easy and at times not fair but what fun in the pine trees. Cart paths are a bit rough in places and some hard dry spots just off the fairways, not surprised due to the hot dry conditions recently. The fairways were in overall good condition and the greens were hard and fast. The greens are old school small and demand a good approach, the layout also challenges you from the tee with multiple risk reward options. The pace of play was excellent and our group finished in under four hours on a Monday afternoon. Overall the course is unique, challenging and fun. The clubhouse needs some renovation but offers plenty of amenities, the only disappointment were the cart paths. I played this course years ago and it was in poor condition, this time around it was in great shape and definitely going in the right direction. Considering the available golf in Colorado Springs the wife and I may look into a golf membership, well worth it.
Worst layout ever
For being in such a cool area this course has so much potential, but this might be the worst designed golf course of all time. I got my driver on average fairly straight, at about 315-350. From the tips at Woodmore, I hit driver THREE TIMES. Not to mention I’m an extremely aggressive golfer. If it’s reachable I go for it, but the trees here are so tall, the fairways so narrow, and the dog legs so severe, I had to layup on almost every hole. Not to mention pop up greens on 5-6 holes when you’re hitting 200 off the tee box and then 200+ in. One par 5 I had to layup with a 275 shot, and had 285 in. Not a huge fan.
Amazing
One of my all time favorite courses I’ve played. Beautiful place. Challenging, but not impossible. I couldn’t pay regular prices, but I’ll be on the lookout for another hot deal.
Challenging and fun course
The whole place seems a bit rundown and disorganized, but once you actually start playing the course its wow time. A great layout with several blind shots and fairly large receptive greens. Major challenge for first timers since there is no GPS or layout map. Nevertheless, the hole design is excellent and the conditions were very good. Lots of tall pines line the fairways, which adds immensely to the mountains aesthetic. Could be a great course with renovations and upgraded carts and cart paths.
