Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills - Blue Course
About
The Blue Course is one of four public courses offered at the Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills. Located in the city of Westminster, the Blue Course is a nine-hole, par-37 course that offers over 3,200 yards of golf. The nine holes of the course originally served as the front nine for another course on the premises, the Gold Course. Now, it stands alone as a regulation length nine-hole course and the Gold Course is a separate 18-hole course at the facility. Hyland Hills offers picturesque mountain views as well as finely manicured courses. Golf Digest even rated Hyland Hills' courses as part of Colorado's top 20 golf courses.

Sanded and aerated greens disappointing but I understand need for it so greens stay in the usual great shape
Arg
should have got a couple $ off for the green conditions, but what the heck- love the peeps that work there ( some of them are kinda rude)
Lovely Day of Golf
We had a nice outing. Pro shop was a little backed up, but we got out in time.
The course is always fun and enjoyable to play.
However the rough was way too long and my brother
And I lost three balls each and all the balls I lost
We’re like one or two feet into the rough.
Obviously, this really slowed the pace of
play.
Course condition
The last few times we have played the rough has been terrible…extremely long, LOTS of clippings, very hard to find your ball or hit out of. We Avesta have loved this course…but feelings have definitely changed
Hacking it Out
Very heavy and uncut rough makes it a tough job for the average golfer. Balls are tough to find due to the heavy rough. Also pace of play was the slowest we’ve experienced on this course.
Poor conditions
Grass not cut and when cut lots of dead grass laying around . Hard to find balls
Poor conditions overall and seems not as good as prior years played
Could benefit from some work
Course is pretty good, I played it in high school a lot so it was more nostalgic than anything, cart paths were in just random locations and torn up in the ends of them. Clocks that’s are supposed to keep you in pace aren’t working. That’s not the biggest deal because we kept pace fine but they advertise it so might as well have them working.
Fuzzy greens
Turf was healthy and well maintained except green were very long and very bumpy.
