Prices are up 43% from last season. Non resident weekday 9 holes walking went from 14 to 20. Course quality does not warrant such an outrageous increase

The front 9 was open but the back was closed because of snow. For February, the course was in pretty good condition. Just happy to be out there playing. Place was packed so the round was slow. Staff were super friendly.

Tee times are 10 minutes apart, absolutely too close together. Took me 2 hours to play 5 HOLES. Ended up just leaving after waiting for 15 minutes on #6 tee box, even though i paid for 18. Complete b.s. People walking into fairways while people are hitting off tee boxes, people shanking balls and not yelling a word. My golf cart had a flat tire and a non working parking brake, making it equally frustrating trying to get the cart to not roll down a hill. The course is not bad layout wise, but that's all it has going for itself. I'll not waste my money there again.

Course had a decent lay out. Very wide open for most holes. Also the course is very forgiving. Good for its price !

Very wet on most of the course, so be prepared for slop if it rained a day or two beforehand.

Busy warm December day. Course was overbooked but it was good to get out. Everyone else had the same idea obviously. Great condition for December

I grew up playing this public golf course and it was for the most part a reasonably groomed and maintained facility.
I was invited to play recently and found the course to be in a total state of disrepair with even the most basic course grooming lacking.
The bridges over the creek that runs through the middle of the golf course are all falling apart inclusive of rotted wood,
The drainage problems run throughout the golf course with as much as 30% of most fairways or more unplayable and un-mowed.
There is little or no sand in the traps.
The downed trees and debris left over from wind storms weeks/months ago is still in piles along some of the wood lines. No attempt has been made to chip it, just piles of downed trees and branches.
The only area that is somewhat playable are the greens but nobody seems to repair ball marks at EHGC.

Good course for the value is only $20 to walk. Layout is pretty straightforward not too challenging and the greens were in good condition no. Some of the fairways had damage spots due to the amount of rain we had last month and people using carts in wet areas. Not bad for the price

The course is in horrible condition. You would think the new management would take more time to improve drainage over raking the sand traps. The clubhouse staff member was courteous and professional. Otherwise, the professionalism and hospitality of the staff was lackluster at best. It's way overpriced for the quality you receive; I would recommend any other surrounding course in their worst conditions over East Hartford at its best.

Today I needed scuba gear!! 70% of par 4s and 5s are a water mess! I will not play here again

We were there on a very busy day. Despite this the pace moved along. This is a great value

Today was a beautiful day to hang out with all my best friends. We all played good today, so that's a good thing. The tee box, fairways and the greens is in fair Condition. The price was a little high,other than that everything else was ok.This course would be better if they hire a ranger to drive around, just to many guys just jump around the golf course. One thing I noticed lately is just to many single guys playing by themselves. They could make more , if they control and start putting golfers together, instead of letting one guy out by himself, then a twosome behind that guy. It just don't make sense to me when I see that other than that we don't have any issue.
