Third: This zoom-lens enhanced view makes the hole and the carry over the pond appear much shorter than they are: it plays 195 from the tee. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/10/2020

Fifth: One of the linksy holes, a dogleg-left, 415 yard par four. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/10/2020

Seventh: I think this is one of Connecticut’s best short par-4’s (view of the green complex). Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/10/2020

430-yard 12th: Another great, but much longer, 4-par. It travels uphill from the tee and downhill to the green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/10/2020

190 –yard 13th: This sweeps uphill to this large green fronted by three big traps. Scenery is a nice bonus. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/10/2020

SAFARI GOLF ASSOCIATION
ON WEDNESDAY MAY 31ST I PLAYED GOLF WITH THE SAFARI GOLF ASSOCIATION AT ROLLING MEADOWS WHAT A GREAT GOLF COURSE THE FRONT NINE AND BACK NINE ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT
THE COURSE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE AND THE STAFF COULDN'T DO ENOUGH FOR YOU
Hidden Gem
We only live 30 minutes from Rolling Meadows and we never heard of it. Played with our Safari Golf Club and were blown away. Gorgeous course, beautiful fairways and greens. Exactly as its name-- Rolling Meadows! No competition from roads, and each hole has privacy. We will definitely be back with friends.
A Safari Club Favorite
One of the best you can play. The layout and course condition is second to none A great owner surrounded by an excellent Staff makes for a great Golfing experience. Go see for yourself!!!
Very nice course
Played the course with the safari club member # 19 and enjoyed it very much staff was super friendly. Had a great time.
Excellent Course
Played this last week with the Safari Club. Best condition of any of the courses we have played to date this year. Greens were excellent...rolled true. We received fantastic treatment from all the staff -- from the owner on down. I would highly recommend this course and look forward to returning in the future.
Wow
A first time trip for Safari and what a treat...The golf course was pristine and the greens fabulous it played 6200 yds so a little more challenging than others we have played....Cant wait to go back next year or even sooner
Great Course
Played for the first time with the Safari Golf Club of Western Mass. with about 120 other members. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great time as the weather was a little damp to start but quickly dried out and sun came out later. This course was in excellent conditions. Loved the large rolling greens that were moderately quick. Rolling hills are very scenic with some great views. Course was very manageable for a bogey golfer like myself. Unfortunately did not get to stay to enjoy food and drink but will return soon with friends and stay after.
Must play if in the area
Played the course recently with the Safari Golf Club and was not disappointed. Course is challenging but fair for any golfer. Every aspect of the course was fantastic from tee to green. The course was only surpassed by the friendliness and efficiency of the staff from the ownership, pro shop, course personnel to the kitchen/wait staff. A stop that will not disappoint.
Forgive me, Please!
I am not giving this course a favorable review because of the perfect fairways, or the moderately fast greens, or the lush thick rough, not even the owners and staff deserve praise, just because of their friendliness and willingness to make our time such a pleasure. Yes, I and my friends from The Safari Club played here, yes, we were treated like royalty, yes, everyone that I talked to raved about this course, but I am not giving a favorable review,,,,,,because I don't want anyone else to find this gem, I want to be able to go there and play any time that I want. I don't want to reserve a tee time weeks in advance. Please forgive me for being so selfish....
One of the nicest courses played
played with a group of 120 men and women from the Safari Club on Wednesday the Staff and owners were very nice to us .The course was in Great shape and I'm looking forward to playing there again. #29 Safari Member.
The Course was in great shape and the owners were very nice
We belong to a group called the Safari Club on May 31st we had a group of more than 120 golfers male and female. The owners of the golf course were very nice to except such a large group and also provide us with a good buffet after we had finished our round. My # is 30 in the group. We will look forward to playing there again soon.

Yesterday the Safari Club played at Rolling Meadows in Ct. and we had a super time. The staff was super and the course was in great shape. The tees and greens were in great shape. The fairways were in excellent shape. The bunkers were ok not the best we have played in. The Ruff was fair to all levels of golf. We had a buffet after the event with hamburgers and hot dogs with salad and all the fixing The only complaint I had was that all the burgers were all ready cooked and were all medium rare. they were not hot and on the small side. If you want a great round of golf I highly recommend this course. Super value
Fun course to play
The Safari Club ended its May schedule at Rolling Meadows, Ellington CT on a day that started a little wet but turned out beautiful. This was a fun course to play which challenged you to keep the ball in the fairway. The course was in great condition and the staff was excellent. Can't wait to play it again.
Safari Club Outing
Very, Very nice track. Lots of fun to play. It's a bit long but not that bad. Most definitely will play there again. I liked the sign they made for our club, nice touch. The food was very good also.
